Merry Christmas, fellow nerds! I hope you got some fun stuff and were able to be with friends and family.
Question: has anyone gotten the McFarlane Storm figure to go with their 4" SM Aquaman? I feel like it will scale pretty well, I just wonder how he works sitting on the larger saddle. |

I never considered that. Wouldn't it be too big for the Spin Master figures?

Not sure? I haven't seen one in person, only on Amazon. Maybe the saddle is removable? But I personally think Storm is better scaled to the 4" Aquaman.

Well I was thinking about getting that for the Page Punchers Aquaman I got for Christmas but I'm definitely going to use it for the smaller figures.

I hope Spin Master gives us an updated Superman figure. Superman next to the new Epic Heroes Captain America.

That'd be nice. I'm still peeved they never made a Henry Cavill Superman.

Spent some Christmas money and ordered Orm and stealth Aquaman from Target (I had a coupon) which arrived today. I'm sure he'll only wear it for like 5 minutes but I love the stealth Aquaman.
One thing you can't deny about these movies (or the DCEU as a whole really) is that the costumes are fantastic. |

Just realized that the trench coat Batman in the Amazon 4 pack is just a new paint job and a new head from being Grifter. Almost looks like a Grifter buck.

Anything new coming in the pipeline that anybody's heard about? I guess with the DCEU or whatever it was called dead and The Batman 2 not until next year, there aren't any movies for them to draw from for a bit, unless they give us some more legacy figs. But I hope they'll fill in the gap with more comic-ish reps in the meantime.

they could just release the shazam figures they absolutely had planned, as evidenced by the one in the "movie pack."

On another note, does anyone know how many posts you have to make before you can add a profile pic? This is the only real thread I follow, but I'd like to be able to have that. |

You should be able to do it now. Go up to User CP near the top left of the page and then to Edit Profile Picture.

These pics are making the social media rounds. I think with a 1:18 scale (custom) Brainiac in there, it might be pretty cool. Could've been cooler, of course...

Hollow tentacles, no roof hatch. Interior is lacking to say the least.
I know $20 doesn't get you much these days, but...ick. |

why does this look like the prototype? i know the original is fairly plain, but this looks pretty boring. a little more color would go a long way.
its plain-ness is ripe for customizing, at least. |

I picked a skull ship up @ Walmart today & I dig it. It's goofy fun, and a fine example of what makes this line terrific. These are homage "collectibles" to a bygone time that haven't forgotten to still be toys. And that's not only reflected in the MSRP, but also in their playability. They're genuinely fun, resonably affordable (especially relative to the ludicris prices of action figures these days), and are so well done that the vehicles especially fit perfectly with their 80s brethren.
