There must be more on the way, right? Cos that's an odd choice for Suicide Squad. Unless the other actors didn't sign off on likeness. But surely, nowadays studios must get action figures/video games written into the contracts to avoid hassle?

Dammit. I was excited at first but then came the news they are 6". Why on Earth aren't they 7" so they can go alongside the live action TV figures? Gonna pass now.

If this line gives us Suicide Squad figures where other places we wouldn't get them(*cough* Mezco *cough*)then I'll definitely buy some. Diablo looks pretty good here. Harley looks decent but it appears she doesn't have any knee articulation? Migth just be the image though. The Zod looks pretty good, hopefully if it has good accessories I might buy him.

Makes no sense that they are 6" since all the other DCC stuff is 7"! And they're still $50? Crazy.

Because it scales with their Icons line.

Other Companies should push out they Versions fast.

Because i hate that; DC Collectibles is showing General Zod;
I buy him > Mafex shows they Version (which of course is even better)
> FAIL

For me as a collector, it happened a few times, not very often,
but it happened before.

When iam really not sure which Version to buy, i buy both;
someone here wrote that, which Version to choose
Mezco Superman or Mafex Superman > Both.
Thats what i did

But i do not want to End up with owning 2 or 3 different Versions
of General Zod.

And iam pretty sure, that Doomsday and Darkseid from Batman VS Superman Movie will be also released sometime this year.

Wait, why would Darkseid be in the movie? They already have enough in there. Adding him would just be over kill.

I do not know. I just heard rumors.
All i know is, that Doomsday IS NOT the Final Boss of the Movie.
It has already been confirmed.

Besides Batman is standing in Front of that Sign (Alpha)
in the Desert, which i heard is hint at Darkseid.

So i hope there are Chances that Bosses like Doomsday are being Made by Mafex or DC Collectibles.

That is why i do not want to end up with 2 or 3 General Zod Figures
1x 15cm General Zod and his Second Form Doomsday is far enough for me ^^

So i hope other Companies push out their Versions pretty Fast, because
right know, i do not know what to do; buy Zod from DC Collectibles or wait
for more Companies to push out more Villains / Versions of Characters.

Honestly, if you want a 1/12th scaled Zod, I think you should either get one of the Movie Masters figures Mattel did for Man of Steel or get the upcoming one from DCC. I honestly doubt that either Mafex or Mezco will be bothering with pre-BvS designs for their DCCU stuff. I'm honestly kinda surprised DCC is even bothering with them at this point.

As for Doomsday, I'll be surprised if any figures of him get made at all. Though it would be a nice surprise if DCC made one.

As for Darkseid, he's currently only supposedly hinted at in BvS, and even that's said to just be a part of Bruce's nightmare. I don't think we'll actually see him till they get to the Justice League movie. Though I could see them potentially saving him for the second JL movie. Could be quite a while before we see any of these toy companies making a DCCU-based figure of him.

I think it's kinda cool that there looks like we'll be getting four options for 1/12th scaled DCCU collector figures. Gives people options. My only concern is that, as of now, DCC's offerings don't seem to have anything particularly unique about them. Mattel has the budget option, Mezco has the miniature 1/6th thing going for them, and Mafex has their Japanese import style of figure going for them... which is seems to be wha DCC is trying to emulate here.

Ok thank you for the update.

It would be really cool to know the Plans from Companies, so that People do not get screwed anymore.
Like these Double releases.

I made that Mistake before on Dark Knight (Christian Bale) Figure.

I bought that one from Mattel??? (Movie Masters) Jump Suit Bruce Wayne.
The Bruce Wayne Head could be attached onto the Dark Knight Body
> But then BAM, Years later, Mafex released this awesome super articulated Dark Knight 2.0 Figure.
which also comes with an Bruce Wayne Head.

I then sold the Movie Master Version one, and bought Mafex one.

I also do not think that Mafex or S.H. Figuarts will produce more Zod Figures, but it could still happen
as it happened with Mafex Dark Knight 2.0 Figure.

It's definitely not a perfect situation, but there's no real way to ever know when another company might offer a better version of something.

Honestly, for myself, if I'm happy with a figure as it is, I really don't care or think about the possibility of another company making a "better" version later on.

I don't think these are necesarily meant to match-up specifically with the Icons line. I think it's more to do with this new 6" scale possibly becoming their new status quo for the future.

I fully expect Doomsday to be one of the second wave of 6" Collect and Connect figures from Mattel. My guess, and I feel it's a solid one, is that wave 2 will have Knightmare Batman(confirmed), Lex Luthor(confirmed), Doomsday, and Aquaman.

The problem with that is that there's no set time frame in which a company HAS to make a figure based off a certain movie; For example, Mattel put out a Movie Masters Ledger Joker in 2008, Medicom put one out a few years later, and NECA just made one. Sometimes they don't want to make certain characters until the profit to cost ratio for rights is better, or any number of reasons...

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, Mattel has already said that they don't have a Doomsday in the workings. Apparently WB didn't get the design to them in-time for them to produce a figure of him.

As for the last two figures, I'm honestly expecting them to be Aquaman and another take on Batman/Bruce Wayne.

I'm hoping this line's Batman looks good. Besides the One:12 version, none look that great. Faora and Jor-El look pretty good, but other than them, this lines a little luke warm for me.

Honestly, I think what we're seeing here is just the tip of the potential iceberg this line could be. As we get closer to the first set of figures hitting retail we should get a much better understanding of what DCC has planned for them. That said, I hope they don't hold toomuch back from us about them this weekend. The more questions they can answer now, the better.

BBTS already has pre-order listings that support the $45 price-point, so I wouldn't expect the actual retail price to be much, if at all, lower.

So we can have our DC multiverse in the same scale.

Would be interesting, but the've confirmed that the movie figures are the same size/scale as their TV and Designer figures. Still able to do some Multiverse stuff there, but not with the Icons stuff.

Though you could have a DC Multiverse made up of Icons and Animated figures.
