Thanks for the info. I actually like the New 52 costume, but thought I was crazy when I couldn't find the figure or the Justice League set, lol.

Does that include the Superman/Doomsday 2 pack?

That's still up as is the Robin/Superboy two pack. DCC stated that two packs like those would be the future of the line and that the individual figures would be getting the axe except for Nightwing and Supergirl.

You folks beat me to it. I had all the DC Icons that are not released so far, other than Rebirth Superman and Batman since I already have them. They all got canceled except the ones mentioned here. I did notice Booster and Beetle two pack is still in my preorders though. I really holding out hope for this one But did they not already announce it being canceled?

Yeah I seem to remember it being directly referenced as cancelled. Maybe not?

I went ahead and canceled my preorders for Supergirl, Nightwing, the kids pack, and the Doomsday set. I'm just going to see what DCC's relaunch plans are at next year's Toy Fair.

Yea that's a bummer about the single releases. Hopefully they can figure out a way to make continue on. They are improving things and with enough time and effort I think it could be a good line for DC fans.

Amazon.com still have people like Shazam listed. Are we saying only Nightwing and Supergirl are now slated to come out in single packs?

I recently picked up Darkseid and if it is the only Icons figure I ever get I would be completely happy with it. It is great. That ebing said it is a real let down that they are having so much trouble with this line. It could be the best looking line of action figures on the market even if the articulation does suffer.

Yep.
I find it odd that places like Amazon are left until the end to be told - they're massive. You'd think they would be told up front. But whatever... this is disappointing.

Still seeing Shazam on Amazon. Mattel really need to send them an email or something... feels like they should know the line is cancelled before us.

Well it'd be DC themselves that need to send the message but yeah it's something that shouldn't be left up. It'll just confuse people now and make them think that those figures are still happening like that. Really sad to see this line already on its death-bed. Yeah they'll be doing those iconic moments packs like the upcoming Doomsday set which will keep the Icons style and approach but that seems to indicate that all future releases will be seemingly overpriced multipacks. Just for example, that means that to get any future Batman villains I'll end up also getting like four more Batman figures I don't need. I still have interest and hopes for what they can do with this line but I'm very aware that they tend to disappoint me.

I always forget who makes what for DC. Could be that they're hedging their bets to see if enough people end up preordering so that they keep the line going?

Easy ways to know which is which besides looking for the Mattel logo on the box:
If it's crappier and dated in articulation and paint apps then it's probably Mattel. This is the stuff you find at Toys R Us, Target, Wal-Mart, etc. It's not all bad, Mattel does have some good offerings (especially as of late) but they are all made to be suitable for children's play over aesthetic. Mattel uses a single term to blanket cover all of their DC 6" figures at any given time, before it was DCUC now it's Multiverse.
DC Collectibles (formerly DC Direct) is the stuff with much more fine sculpting and paint apps. The articulation varies greatly from subline to subline. This stuff is only sold at specialty stores (comic shops, FYE, etc.) and usually costs a few bucks more (more than a few recently). It gets complicated with DCC though because they make so many different lines at once. They have/had Icons, Designer Series, the New 52 series, Batman the animated series, the various Arkham series, CW show series, etc. The other big separation besides detail levels is that DCC never includes any kind of BAF gimmicks.

Useful to know.

Shazam is still listed on Amazon... you'd think someone should have told them by now...

My order of Shazam from a UK retailer has finally been cancelled. Damn. Maybe he'll appear in some other form in the future.

Supergirl still looks great.

My comic shop put the Rebirth 7-pack on clearance for $40 so I picked it up and they are nice but Wonder Woman is way too tall and Batman has a Frowning face. I do love the Flash,Aquaman Cyborg and Superman though. My favorite of the set is flash by far his face sculpt looks so much better then the Single Release. The single release head looks like Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory in a flash costume.
