I've lost all interest in the Icons line too. A shame as I really wanted to get Batgirl and John Stewart, but now I'm glad I couldn't afford them when they first came out (nor Darkseid).

The problem is they won't say it's over because then they'll jeopardize their sales of Rebirth Batman, Rebirth Superman, Rebirth Supergirl, Damien/Superboy, Nightwing, and the Superman/Doomsday pack.

At least I got a kick ass Barry with Cosmic Treadmill out of it. It just sucks that I sold off my entire Flash DCU rogues two months before the Icons line dangerzone started.

I'll take any omission of new information at SDCC, as an interpretation of "it's over".

Sucks too, because I was really wanting this line to produce a kick-ass 6in. Poison Ivy.

I had hoped for a classic Ivy and a bunch of other characters.

I really wanted that 90's era Catwoman figure. I decided to pre-order her when the trouble with the line started to become evident. I thought the more pre-orders DCC had, the more likely they were to release the figures. I thought since the Icons Harley fits in so well with my DCUC the Catwoman would look good too. I feel like the line would still be going strong if the figures were scaled a little bigger.

For Any of you UK collectors who missed out on either , Black Adam, Deadman , Lex Luthor or Mr.Miracle. Bargains below £12.00 per fig, or £45.00 for the lot.

I just got into collecting DC figures this year as I was propelled by that awesome Darkseid. I've amassed a decent nearly 80 figure collection (speed collecting this year only I think), but have held off on getting a Catwoman since that Icons figure fits what I want perfectly. Is it still coming? That's absolutely the outfit I want but there's not a lot her in that outfit from other lines.

Also has there ever been a Killer Frost made in any line for 6 inch scale? There's a figure I'd really like to see!

Sorry for the newbie type questions like I said only started the DC collecting this year so I am not familiar with all the lines outside of the Universe one (sort of like Marvel Legends), which is where I have gotten most of the figures from.

Sadly it's up in the air with a very heavy leaning towards the cancelled bucket. DCC said something about the Supergirl and Nightwing being the last individual figures a while ago with the implication that any not already cancelled individual figures were also canned. There still exists the potential to get some of them through their new "iconic moments" multipacks since those will continue the Icons style of figures but so far the only one of those announced is the Superman: Doomsday pack. At SDCC I expect to see nothing new except for another reveal for the "iconic moments" stuff and either a dodging of any Icons related questions or just a vocal reinforcement of the cancellation we all feel coming. Hopefully I'm wrong but then DCC just loves giving lines the axe while they still have potential.

They did say on twitter or Facebook a few months ago that the best way to ensure more individual figures is to pre-order the ones you want now. The more pre-orders they have the stronger the line looks, the more likely it will continue.

That's kind of problematic when the only individual figures up for preorder are Nightwing and Supergirl.

It was before the last wave was released, but the principle still applies. If pre-orders for Nightwing and Supergirl are strong (as well as the multipacks) it improves the chances of the line continuing.

Thanks all, that is helpful. Disappointing of course for all of us but helpful nonetheless. At this point Amazon still has the figure on preorder for July 28th so I guess I may sit on that until that date passes and see which way the wind has blown. There's a ton of Catwoman figures out there but they're mostly that more traditional catsuit version that's current (or somewhat I think). I just happen to prefer her 90's look, so I really do hope it comes through.

I received a cancelation email from BBTS for Catwoman back in back in May stating that they had received word from DCC that it wasn't being made.

Why would I want Nightwing and Supergirl with no guarantee I'm going to get anyone else? Supergirl is worthless without the Legion and I need some more villains before I can justify Nightwing. Batman can handle Joker and Harley by himself.

What part of "order what figures you want now" did yo not understand may I ask? Good god man, read the damned comment before whining about it.

Just watched a Q&A on DCC's Facebook page and they talked about Icons. Kevin mentioned that there would be new figures coming out in September, October, and November of this year and that the DC Rebirth Batman and Superman would be out in October. Previews World has Nightwing, Supergirl, and the Super Sons 2 pack coming out on September 13 which would leave the Doomsday 2 pack for November. They said after that Icons would be put on hold to see how DC Essentials performs. One thing they mentioned is that fans do need to preorder to show interest in any of their lines. Solicitations are put out early enough that they can judge how much to make of particular figures as well as gauging fan interest in the line.

Even though this line looks to be over, I'll still pick up Nightwing as I have no intention of selling my Batman related characters and I am in need of a solid Nightwing figure at the moment.

wth? so they gauge interest on a figure due to "pre orders". thats weird? alot of collectors dont do pre orders. and collectors are the backbone of figure sales...

They're a smaller company whose product only appears on LCS shelves and in online stores. It's what they've got to do to not lose money. Even if your plan is to buy it when you see it on the pegs/shelf at your LCS, the owner submits a preorder based on the buying habits of their clientele.

This is exactly why the "I'm angry about how thy are treating Icons so I'm going to cancel my pre-orders in protest" thing was so counter productive.

I really hope currently available pre-orders are strong enough that he line continues alongside Essentials.

I already sold off my Icons line (Well I kept Swamp Thin, Flash, and Harley), so I'm not buying a single item from it ever again.

I won't touch DC Essentials until DCC proves to me they are going to support the line by giving me classic versions of character and more than just the main DC heroes. Release Jonah Hex, Spectre, Dr Fate, and Gorilla Grodd, then I'll consider it.

The original prototype head on that DC Icons Wonder Woman was so much better looking than the newer one it was released with. The skin tones were nicer on the prototype as well the released one looked like she was going through liver failure in person. After seeing that they changed the head I canceled my preorder. Recently I bought the Icons Justice League 7-pack from Barns and Noble for $50. But the Wonder Woman figure is way out of scale with the rest of the figures. So I bought the single packed Wonder Woman to go with that set, but I noticed that both of the heads on the Wonder Woman figures looked undersized. I ended up putting the 7-pack WW head on the smaller one and it looks perfect scaled on that body. After that I repainted the skin tones so that they would match, the 7-pack WW has a more pink-ish tone and the single packed had more a yelow-ish tone. For the 7-ack one I'm going to use a Invisible Woman head, sculpt on a tiara, and swap out the hair.
