This was due to the fact that many of DC’s partners do similar things in similar scales and it was hard to stand out to retailers needing to make decisions on purchasing. The decided to pull back and let their partners do their thing. Some may work themselves in via different lines later on, but the full “DC Films” line as it was presented at Toy Fair 2016 is not happening.
I'm eagerly awaiting for WB to announce they are going to rethink the DCCU next year after they have made their money from JL. Rumors have spread that Jared Leto has bought out his contract and that Ben Affleck is going to be doing the same. Add on top that Flash and The Batman can't keep a director and you have one mighty tower crumpling in slow motion.

However, WB won't say anything now as it would kill their media buzz for WW and JL.

I'm more concerned about the Captain Cold that was supposedly shown off. I got rid of my DCU Cold because of it.

Oh come on! What type of journalist is he if he isn't going to ask the important questions? Hopefully Shartimus Prime will.

Personally, I think the Mattel version looks good as-is, and the Icons line has been a real clusterfrak for about a year now with no sign of changing, so I wouldn't bother with the Icons version. No unless you're really intent on building a collection of Icons figures.
The problem is I got rid of all my Mattel stuff that wasn't New Gods because of the Icons line.

I think it is far too early to be concerned about any Icons figure other than Etrigan (who still might be released at a later date). The only previously announced figures they had at Toy Fair was the Rebirth 7-pack (also rumoured to be cancelled at one point I think?) and Nightwing. Assuming that every other announced figure not at Toy Fair is up in the air for release I think is extremely silly.

I like Pixel Dan but he never really asks tough questions.

No, the New 52 version was canceled in favor of the Rebirth version.

and Nightwing.
Except Nightwing's tag said it is going to be released in Nov, which means it has been delayed yet again, but DCC never verbally said this. For all we know, Sinestro, Static Shock, Deathstroke, Deadshot, Swamp Thing, Catwoman, and Captain Marvel have also been delayed until the Fall, which is why it would have been nice if DCC had them on display.

I'm getting tired of this game of "Guess When?" How about giving us some god damned actual dates and sticking to them?

Also, what about the freaking Captain Cold they showed off to the press at SDCC? Or was that fake?

All I ask is for some communication. Is that so hard?

I know the New 52 pack was cancelled, but someone reported that the only Icons 7-pack listing was still listed as cancelled. It was on the Fwoosh Forums I think.

Have you tried asking on their Facebook page?

Well the Rebirth one was advertised in their comics, so I don't know why anyone would think it would be canceled.

Also, they don't allow people to post on their facebook page and they don't have a Twitter.

Sure, but the retailer listing is cancelled the same Etrigan, which indicates the listing being cancelled isn't the same as DCC actually cancelling it permanently.

You can reply to existing posts though, I've done it.

I've tried that, but DCC has never replied to a single thing I posted.

Too bad they didn't have any production pieces of soon-to-be-released statues. I am on the fence about DC Cover Girls Hawkgirl.

DC Collectibles is a company that is a subsidiary of DC Comics themselves, and they produce a wide range of collectibles, including multiple lines of figures; DC Icons is one of those figure lines that DC Collectibles produces.

Hey All,

Apologies if this has already been covered, but does anybody know if more video game designs will be made into action figures? I'm particularly interested in certain characters as they appear in DCUO and Injustice 2.

Doesn't look like it. DCUO seems really unlikely. Injustice 2, I guess, could be possible. But they don't seem to be too interested in it.

Bummer. Maybe that tells us something about the perceived size of the DC gaming market. Anyway, thanks.

I would actually get some of the Injustice 2 villains, provided they were 6 or 7" scale and not 3.5" like the first Injustice figures. Bane, Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, and Catwoman all look good to me.

Yah, exactly! And whereas the original Injustice Batman struck me as butt-ugly, the new suit looks much better. I'd love to add DC Collectibles-articulated 7" versions of the armored-up main characters to my collection.
