I disagree. They had every right to fire her. If WB can fire Johnny Depp without any proof that he did anything wrong (and were now proven wrong), Disney sure as hell can fire Carano for comparing the physical torture of an entire race of people to her hurt feelings. They are not the same. We should not tolerate racist terrorists just because they played a character people liked.

lol. Don't feel too bad for her. And called a woman 'racist' after she called out him being a 'white privileged male' (which he is... he comes from a well-off family of several known actors and he went to one of the most prestigious schools in the whole world but got himself expelled because he was a knob even back then)

Just a small sample of the many issues with this Fox bloke that Gina chose to work with, which given her remarks and behaviour that previously led to her exit from Star Wars, is not all that surprising that she associates with absolute wankstains like him.

Ive said it before, if carano cant/wont come back as cara then Katrina Law ( who could easily pass as caranos chatacter dune ) should be cast as cara.

So I went to Target today and I got myself a Superwoman. They had them in the warehouse still but one dude was kind enough to pull them all out and let me compare paint and stuff. If you see them in store make sure to look at that S on her chest because I found only one with the paint perfectly applied. This Starro though is looking amazing but I was surprised by how freaking heavy the unfinished thing already is.

Something to note about Starro. If you're building it, then it's staying built. The connector pieces make it do that Starro can't be disassembled. I had thought of trying to install a little light for the central eye but I got overzealous and snapped my two parts together and that piece isn't going to come off.

You kid but I thought of getting a second and adding some trunks for it but where would I get those. Also how much will it cost me for that second Starro. Then I'm going to need a Poriferan to go with it. Any suggestions on who could fill in for monster-sponge?

IIRC... Gina Garano didn't get fired for comparing conservative persecution to the Holocaust... Disney just didn't want to work with her again because she refused to give the apology that was prepared for her by the PR people. Such a strange hill to die on IMO. I get why Disney wanted nothing to do with her anymore though... it is in the conservative playbook to try and minimize tragedies... I mean just look at how they are constantly trying to downplay the events of Jan. 6th.

And remember James Gunn got in trouble too, but he apologized and laid low for a little bit making Suicide Squad and then Disney worked with him again.
