I had a feeling they would do something like this, what with Netflix's success with shows like Orange is the new Black. The great thing is that they will release all the episodes at one time so there's no waiting or commercials.

I like the possible movie implications and tie-ins, win-win!

Sounds like a plan. Already half-way through Season 1 of Daredevil.

Anyone know why it takes so long for the Blu-ray releases?

Looking back at this thread, it's a shame that all of these characters and their world that they've spent seasons cultivating will all be unceremoniously scrapped and let to the wayside.

With just a final season of Jessica Jones remaining on the board, what do you hope to see?

As long as they keep Cox, Bernthal, and D'Onofrio I'm good with whatever. Would be nice to see them in the movies though.

if they ever take out a live-action movie of DareDevil with charlie Cox (afflick one was garbage) i bet it would be the most highest grossing superhero movie ever.

Eh I still think the Director's Cut was fine but it doesn't hold a candle to the series.

A second season of The Defenders would have been the best way to end this chapter of the Marvel/Netflix deal. Cutting ties and dropping the pieces where they lie is pretty much an insult to many fans and viewers alike. A final season of Defenders would have allowed for all of the main characters to return to the stage, handle any leftover dramas from their respective seasons, team-up/kick ass/take names, and finally give the entire Marvel/Netflix universe the resolution it deserves.

There are rumbling that these shows will find new life on Disney Plus. There is hope.

now that disney owns the majority of hulu I'd rather see the shows continue there. keep them dark and violent.

Read that the other day. I was excited until I got to the part where it said they're going with Robbie Reyes. That killed any interest I had.
