sister thread to the Marvel lego thread I just started. the New DC Sets look great, especially the Lex Luthor in a giant mech fighting Wonder Woman and Superman. Just awesome

I am seriously thinking of getting these and want to get some debates going on. get the hype train going

I may get the DC ones, not the Marvel ones. It may be the only DC thing I could collect in the new year.

My son loves Lego more than just about anything (Hot Wheels gives them a good run for the money). I might be in. . .gotta see more of what they'll be offering.

--edit-- So I Googled it. I'm in.

Legos are too rich for my blood. I do however hope we're getting a game out of this.

But... if they release any sets that are Green Lantern, Green Arrow, or Titans heavy, I may have to cave and get them.

Green Lantern was one of their teaser samples at a Comic Con, so I'm guessing he'll get his fair share of the glory. Even with the barely entertaining movie they put out, they'll still test the market with a LEGO set or two.

C'mon, if Fisher-Price Trio can put out a set with Atrocitus, surely Lego will do some cool GL stuff.

I might get the small Batman vs. Catwomen set, but I don't think I'll get any of the larger sets. I never did get into the Batman sets they released previously.

Edit: Is it kinda sad that, now that I notice the larger sets have a comic included, that I'm kinda interested in getting one of the bigger sets now? lol...

Yeah, and can you imagine the custom constructs we can build out of the clear neon lego pieces?

the first year seems to be very batman heavy, but they have the superman/wonderwoman vs lex luthor set.
From what I can tell, the first half of 2012 is DC, and then in summer, they are releasing the Marvel sets, and it'll be like that. heres the other dc sets. Marvel sets only have minifigure previews

theres 2 other DC Sets that dont have any real photos, but its believed one has Harley Quinn, the other has the Riddler. Like I said, Very Batman focused start

As much as I loved Lego's when I was younger and how I love collecting DC Figures I will have to pass. I just don't have the time or energy to build my dc superheroes. So I will just stick with buying the pre-made figures.

Same here, most of these sets are pretty much a surefire purchase for me as I missed out on the original Batman stuff. Looking forward to finally owning a Batmobile, that's for sure!

That said, I can;t wait until they start doing some more sets of other DC guys... You think it's too much to expect them to do a Watchtower or Hall of Justice set?

looking at the other sets i have pretty much already got them :| simply cause they are very similiar to the previous sets , all i can say is upgraded pieces really so , its pointless if you already have the classic set like i do, although hopefully if theres a tumbler i will possilby get it and use it as a model rathar than playing with it ( well , i say i wont play but ....)

To be honest IDK it depends largely on what they come out with... I mean really why is Bane Standard size instead of Slightly Bigger? or Robin as a Mini Figure to show hes Younger then Bats?

all lego figures are the same size unless they are dwarf, house elf, yoda, a youngling, or hagrid
