I finally found the Flash Batmobile at FYE last week for $89 and I picked it up, though I plan on returning it(not scalping it like a prick) if I manage to get this one.

If the rumor of the WB 100 box set is accurate, then I sincerely hope this 89 Batman is the version of Keaton's Batman that they include. It would be a gigantic middle finger to fans if they only way to get it is an Amazon exclusive.

Aside from the exclusiveness, this 89 Batman looks fantastic.

The rumor is that there is a 6 pack coming with all of the live action Batmen from the movies. This listing has shown up as "WB 100" on Amazon as well as overseas retailers.

Keaton, Bale, Affleck, and Pattinson have already received figures so their figures would be repacks. Since Keaton has a figure for The Flash and now this 89 Gold Label set, I'm really hoping that the 89 costume would be included in the WB 100 set.

Unless I’m missing something, that is an 89 Batman figure. The logo, abs, utility belt, and shin guards are accurate.

there's something about the cowl that seems off-model from '89 but it just might be the neck articulation making it seem off. But yeah, absolutely 'good enough' at what it's supposed to be. Hope I'm able to get one.

Yeah, may be only a funky angle, but the curves of the scallops look to be off and the logo too wide/short. Still, I'm willing to do light mods at this price point so if I've got to bring in the shoulders or fuse his head to the neck or steal parts from the NECA version or whatever, I'll do it.

I've kind of accepted that this is one of those figures that'll never really be done right, so I've just got to balance accuracy vs price. Getting 92% for $100 is a harder sell than 89% for $20.

Yeah the cowl flare on this new Batman is completely different than the Flash Batman's, (I have my copy right in front of me), pretty sure this is their version of 89 Batman.

There are some stylistic flourishes for sure, but if people are seeing anything other than 100% '89 Batman with zero reused parts, you've got to hook me with up with whatever it is you're smoking.

This looks like 96% new sculpt top to bottom. Only biceps, shoulders, and thighs are probably reused, which is good. Btw, when tf is it coming up on preorder? Too bad I’ll miss it. ????

Can't speak to the shoulders or thighs because the pic sucks, but the biceps have the end of the armor sculpted near the elbow, so they're new.

The set is supposed to be going up today on Amazon, but no links yet. Friday is my day off so I've been refreshing around the hour since the sun came up.
