				 | Quote: The details are the problem; the base armors in both movies were pulled from the same molds but they were accessorized in different ways, and those differences are permanently tooled into the suits so that they can't be used for each other. They could and should have about 80% identical tooling between Clooney/Kilmer Panthers and Sonar/Ice suits, and instead it's like 30%. And it wouldn't have added any extra money now to save themselves money in the future: the buckles could have been attached to the already separate belts, Clooney's chest logo could have been attached to the cowl so Kilmer's could be plugged in later, etc.. They simplified the gloves enough that all three are sporting the same hands (farewell, '89 palm studs) but then give K&C differently detailed lower arm sculpts to represent... the exact same gloves. I guess I'm just fiending hard enough for Burton/Schumacher stuff from McF that I'm worried about inefficiencies like this potentially hurting profitability of those waves. It's money that could be going to actor likenesses or something. Or be thrown at a Forever Batmobile? If you're gonna dream, dream big! 7A4ECECF-084F-4AFC-A305-A69507467F06 by Comedian Horseman, on Flickr |

I presume Clooney Batman's unique tooling cost will be covered by the wave release of him with the upcoming B&R wave? I kind of imagine we'll see a Forever wave at some point. Maybe even Returns because a Returns Catwoman would sell like crazy. Especially if we got an unmasked one later. |

Quote: Far as I know the only really questionable likeness is Nicholson, who charges a mint, but depending on the terms they could make it work by spamming us with variants. Provided the sculpt is good, I'd be down for every look he sports. I'd drop $40 on a deluxe dio of the Smylex commercial beach set (like their TDK interrogation room) with Joker in shades and I can't be alone in that. It'd be glorious, no? It'd probably cost twice as much to tool up as Keaton's, but I'd pay more to make up for it. It doesn't even have to light up as long as they make sure it's built so someone can add lighting. They did that with the '89 car and that had to be on purpose. |

I love Batman Returns so much that I’m willing to shell out money for a Beast Kingdom 8ction Heroes Batman Returns figure. I’ll preorder 7” Returns Batman so fast and sell my current 7” ‘89 Batman if McFarlane ever makes one. |

Saw that and came here to post it. I'm all in on Super Powers but the 7" line I'm very picky on. Classic Supes is a tentative yes, blacklight Freeze is a maybe, and Steel depends on Supes. The only Nightwing I'll accept is either OG disco collar or pretty boy modern with the bubble butt. |

Can't wait to finally see the actual figures of this wave and that Classic Wonder Woman render that was shown off. Yes, please. With everything else shown and released from the past Batman films, this is my number one "want" from McFarlane. |

I'm so very down for Bat Santa, I just can't figure out which color to go for. Maybe both? I have zero Christmas stuff to pair him up with.

Cyborg? - Cool. Subdued colors Joker? - Cooler. BatSanta? - Hahaha! Be parted from your money... If the photos are from HK then it might be Hong Kongese dollars or yuan, which tracks about right for 20 USD. But that doesnt explain the dollar sign in front....
