Vampire Robin and Super Evil Owlman are cool looking figures. Hope they do well. Sometimes I wish I had a job in purchasing for one of these retailers so I could order or request (from McToys) something besides another Batman or Robin variant. I can't help but wonder if they have any say or control over what they order or if they retailers are being spoonfed information and data from Todd. Seems like I become more selective every year in the amount of reissues, rehashed and variant characters that I purchase. Kind of frustrating that it has to be this mad game.

These Walmart exclusives have been tough to get. My closest Walmart hasn’t had mcfarlane DC come in since March. The next 2 closest seem to have to much stock of future state figures thus get nothing new. The forth closest….30 miles from me does get them but it’s hit or miss and I did luck out with the last 2, but everything else I have had to pay almost double on the secondary.

I get it, but it still sucks.

I like that Owlman, but at the end of the day he's another Batman. No points for these two, McFar. And you were doing so well, as of late..

At first I thought vampire Damian had a stake attached to an arm stump.

I really hoped for more of a Linda Carter likeness to the WW (even though yes I know, the costume isn't exactly right either). I'd love to replace the Mattel version from a few years ago though.

Arms look really weird, but I’ll take it. Hope she doesn’t sell out too fast.

That was a nightmare custom job believe it or not. Step 1 was obviously remove all the screws and pieces - basically disassemble it from the bottom up. Little did I know that over the years the plastic of some of these Kenner vehicles can turn a little brittle. The underside of the vehicle was cracking the entire time I was removing all the screws. The main hood and the entire underside of the car was in about 50 little pieces and had to be painstakingly glued together. I reinforced the length of the underside of the vehicle with lego panels so it won't be coming apart anytime soon. Restoring the hood was like taking an classic car to the body shop, and it took a lot of refining and sanding, but the hood looks perfect. I have a lot of custom vehicles and figures, but in 20+ years that was the only one that ever gave me any trouble.

I did that custom as well, but used metallic purple and metallic green to turn it into a Joker car. Seemed appropriate with the "side splitters", machine guns and missile launcher.

Woah, I legit thought that ever since I saw the promo on insta. I couldn't really understand how the hand was attached, but I just figured it was my ignorance for not having read the comic.

What terrible photography.

Is "Collector's Edition" just McFarlane's way of raising prices on figures people actually want?

McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Gold Label Animal Man is up for preorder at Target ($19.99) - https://www.target.com/p/mcfarlane-t...52#lnk=sametab

Here's McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Gold Label Red Tornado's Target link ($19.99) - https://www.target.com/p/mcfarlane-t...l/-/A-89101775 #ad

It's showing as Sold Out but I'm not positive if it was ever actually available? I apologize, I was putting together a casserole when these went up.

I never saw it either. But, at least Jokerized Batgirl is still available (rolling eyes so hard retinas are detached)

I, too, was checking for these 2 preorders (Animal Man and Tornado) all morning, and out of nowhere Red Tornado is sold out. I doubt it was ever available. I'll keep checking during the day obviously. Animal Man was an instant purchase.

McFarlane still pulling this crap, the Animal Man card art shows him with his jacket on which is the normal way he looks, but to save on making a new sculpt we just get the same basic body everyone else is coming on lately. LAZY.

Jokerized Batgirl is in incredibly poor taste, but the color scheme works great on her. These lazy variants really need new smiling heads to sell the theme.

Why does Batgirl still have gold gloves? Shouldn’t they be green?

Jokerized Batgirl and all the rest should have you know - Jokerized faces.

Besides - isn't a "Jokerized" Batgirl a cripple with a bullet wound in her gut?

If you mean the 3.75” version, then yeah, they look like those arms. Kinda unsightly.

Red Tornado sold out pretty fast! I really don’t care cuz I never cared about the character. My biggest concern is that Wonder Woman might sell out way too fast, too. Yes she’s a general release, but she’s more famous than Red Tornado, so I’m just gonna preorder her as soon as she goes up for retail. If Red Tornado went this stupidly quick, then don’t be surprised if Wonder Woman sells out just as quickly, even if she’s just a general release. I think we’ll be able to get Steel, tho.
