i will admit, the colors on rival looks better then the previous figure, may get it to do a head swap.... maybe

Ah cool. Thank ye. I totally forgot about that figure. That upper body looks bigger than any of the Superman figures with the exception of DKR.

I don’t think that head is new. It seems like a reuse of Joker with a hat from Three-Jokers.

It looks similar but, definitely a different head from the Three Jokers figure.

Sweet. I look forward to not finding Batgirl like I never found the recent Supergirl.

Problem is $30 is kinda ridiculous, too. But I guess it's the price to pay to not have a hole in my collection.

I was thinking the same thing but looking back at the Jay Garrick figure, I don't see the skin tones matching at all since Jay Garrick's skin is much brighter.

I don't know if you live in the US or not (I don't and had to ship to a friend's address), but Supergirl was down to like $10 with free ship-to-store for almost a month and a half on Target.com.... so idk if you just want to find it in store for the thrill of it, but she was pretty easy to get for cheap

The McFarlane stores shipping calculator is down. So I can’t check out. What is the freaking issue?

This new Super Powers wave is fantastic. Really love the 2 new vehicles. I just hope they give us a Booster Gold eventually to go with Blue Beetle. Also a Guy Gardner Green Lantern. One little nitpick... I wish Kilowog's green suit color was the same shade as the previous GL figures. I have the inconsistency there.

Also odd that Amazon, BBTS, and EE aren't offering Gold Superman and Yellow Sinestro. Only way to get those 2 figures currently is buying the full wave at EE.

Whoa... just saw this pointed out on Facebook. A Booster Gold figure is teased in the packaging photo of the Super Powers Blue Beetle ship!

This line is turning into a real sleeper hit. I hope some playsets are on the horizon.

If McFarlane ever does a Super Powers playset, I bet its a Batcave. That's one playset I always wished we got in the vintage line. I just hope he doesn't underscale/short change it. I'd want it to be as big and feature-filled as the vintage Hall of Justice playset. The 1966 Batcave playset he did was very underwhelming for the 1966 line, and VERY underscaled. Coincidentally its just the right size for Super Powers figures though, but definitely too small for his 6" 1966 Batman line. But I'd like to get a 1980s-ish comic inspired Batcave for the Super Powers line. Something Kenner might have done back then.

I was doing okay with it until Black Manta and Reverse-Flash were sold exclusively to Walmart, then I dropped out. My issue wasn't the exclusivity, it was the piles of previous waves stacked up on the pegs, top shelf and bottom shelf. They're nice, especially if you want to hang them up MOC, but not quadruple MSRP nice.

And it's good to see McFarlane mix it up a bit.

I STILL haven't seen either Black Manta or Reverse Flash, or any significant sightings of either on Facebook other than them being found in Canada. Canada got Black Manta months ago. It's ridiculous that we're still waiting on these to show up all over the states.

While Super Powers Batcave would be likely, there's so many Batcave sets across brands. I'd rather see one of these or both:

I absolutely don't have the space for it but I don't care I would buy a Fortress of Solitude set without hesitation.

Agreed on those. He needs to get these figures out. I ordered both from CMDstore in Canada. Shipping is real cheap for me because I’m in NY.

These have to be on his radar. He did the Superman punch ship that was a prototype.

On a side note, I’m surprised that playmates don’t release some prototype stuff in their retro turtles figures and that hasbro doesn’t do some prototype stuff from the Kenner ghostbusters.

Edit. The bundle is now sold out on Mcfarlane’s toy store.
