This looks like the Batman Toy Biz Superheroes had planned before they based it on Keaton’s suit. I still have the Toy Biz box and wished they still released it

What I was thinking, I was always confused by the picture on the cardboard being so different. It looked better. I loved the released figure as a child, I was counting the seconds until I got it! But in retrospect, it looked kind of bad.

I remember that now that y'all mention it. It was like ToyBiz repainted the DC Super Powers figure. The Keaton release looked NOTHING like that.

Yeah, I too wished that the prototype (which was just a repainted SP Bats I believe)shown on the cardback and magazine ads was what we got in '89.

I was young enough when the Toy Biz Batman was released that I didn't pay any attention to the card back. I was just stoked to finally have a Batman action figure. But I definitely felt like I traded up when I got the Crime Attack Batman from Kenner's Dark Knight Collection.

Hopefully they fixed the canopy spring on the Batwing.

My figures were ordered from the Warner Bros. catalog. So this is how they got me. None of these figures are what I actually received lol.

If it's a repaint of the blue one he should fit ok.

I kinda love how Bob is just taking a stroll through the Batcave, totally separated from the Batman/Joker action.

I have Mafex Bane on Preorder and i thought i wouldn't have any desire for any other Bane figure once i have it... But Mcfarlane Bane has its charm for sure.

And is that Tim Drake in that Black, Red and Green cool looking Robin costume ???? If so i have never seen him wear that costume in comics. It kind of resembles Damian's old costume.

I miss that playset. I am glad McFarlane toys are bringing back some playability with the SP line

Likelihood of McToys producing a line of new figures based exclusively on the Batman Caped Crusader animated show? Anyone? Or do you think they'll just include random figures into already established lines? I only ask because images have been released showing the new Gordon, Catwoman, Harley and Batman. Sounds like Clayface will be the golden age version of the character as well.

I don't think they would give the show its own separate line like 66 or BTAS. But I could see figures in the Multiverse line. Whether they're actually based on the show or the Golden Age comics remains to be seen.

So he had a Bane before that I preordered from Entertainment Earth which they said due to manufacturer was cancelled so I missed out. Then this 1 instantly sells out? I don’t even believe this exists, I’m calling it a lie until & unless I actually see it. They need to get their crap together.

I stopped pre-ordering through EE years ago when they burned me on 4 different pre-orders in a row. They're good for in-stock orders in my experience but for pre-orders they definitely seem to have an issue with letting people order past the limit of what they'll receive.

I secured the Bane set from bbts but missed Robin. First time I’ve ever missed one of these drops. These daily….”be at your screen at noon” drops are really starting to wear on me.
