Those BF figs look cool. Just not for me. Again. I'm just not a fan of that movie either. I hope they sell out and eventually lead to Huntress, Powergirl, Zatanna, I wouldn't mind boxed sets of Legion figs either. Maybe Saturn Girl and Brainiac. And Lightning Lad and Ultra Boy.

I agree, though- awesome figure! I got him as a kid, and thought he was great- huge, cool cape, action feature, and the awesome light-piped eyes. They should have just either worked him in to regular cases, and made less profit on him, or maybe sold him in a 2-pack with a unique hero figure (Maybe a battle-damaged Superman or something).

This is only the second Darkseid they've done in their Multiverse line. I'm not counting the exclusive variant of the movie version as a truly separate figure since it was out at the same time and was just the same figure with the torso overlay.

I don't know what's going on but in my area this is no longer the case. Several stores have greatly narrowed their DC sections to just the standard figures (and occasionally still Page Punchers or the collect-to-builds). I kinda want to blame the sunken citadel pirate, I saw that bastard everywhere and don't recall seeing a single one move until they got pushed to the clearance section and even then they clearly weren't selling.

That's interesting. I had no idea. Didn't remember him being a dollar more either. That's cool old school toy info.

He was a great figure though. I hope McFarlane tackles a few more characters in their Super Powers specific looks. Namely Steppenwolf, Mantis and Braniac.

That's a bummer. A couple of the Walmart in my town stopped carrying DC figures (we have FOUR) but, Target gets them and other than a few stragglers always seem to sell through with only a couple left for clearance. Except that damn Citadel Pirate. Weird choice for a release. It had 3 negatives going for it: 1. Shown for about 2 seconds in one frame. 2. Relatively expensive. 3. He was something like 6 shades of brown and boring.
