What a shame about the Batman Beyond Batmobile. Oh well, it's another opportunity to save money on McFarlane toys. C'mon, Todd. Do better.

Speak for yourself, crowd pleaser. I'm a HUGE Batman Beyond fan. I have a hard time looking at this slick as hell thing and feeling like Todd was going,"Hey fans, fuck you" That's absurd. I think this version is fantastic. I will buy one for the Animated series too. I'll go in a third time for the version from Beyond The White Knight. Why? Batman likes his garage.

I'm going to repaint the entire thing. Use 3 different top coat finishes. Enhance details etc. Also plan to insulate any light bleed and paint parts of the inside area (behind the cockpit and sidewalls) metallic silver hit with red clear to directionalize the LEDs and punch the intensity. Beyond excited.

Chin up, chap. Todd has made how many Batmobiles already? Sometimes I think some of y'all just bitch and complain too much.

Aside from rereleasing the DC Direct figures, all of Todd's Batman Beyond toys have been based on the comics not the cartoon.

BvS wave in package. The Platinum Superman is based on the statue that Wally the security guard spray paints "False God" onto the chest. The Platinum for armored Batman comes with the Kryptonite spear and a green glow effect. The regular armored Batman only comes with hands. Knightmare Batman only comes with goggles and binoculars. WW seems nice at least.

Someone posted a pic of the upcoming phygital wave. Platinum Flash is the Barry Allen figure from the Flashpoint Target wave. But it looks like the boots and maybe the wings on the mask are translucent yellow. Platinum Joker is wearing a black tux.

Someone also posted some poor quality shots of the BvS Doomsday vs Superman set. I'm going to link to them rather than repost them. Superman looks the same as the JL Snyder Cut figure. This set also comes with the kryptonite spear. With the reflection on the package, it's hard to tell if this set comes with any extra hands or accessories for the figures.

Wow. All of these pictures (while they are of amazing quality) are showing me nothing of interest. That has to be close to 20 new announcements and releases in the past month or two that I just flat out who gives a ........ (you get it).

Now if that had been 20 new things I wanted, wow. Close to $700 in somebodies pocket (counting the BB batmobile). Multiple that by a couple hundred collectors, and well, methinks sometimes people are just afraid to make money.

Superman sold out on WM (but in people's carts) and amazon in less than 5 minutes?! I never even saw a pre-order button, and I've been refreshing since before noon!

Yep - got him off amazon earlier, so I can cancel the EE order I placed and save on shipping. Still never saw it available on WM.

The usual WM shenanigans for Superman - goes in and out of stock randomly, usually "just one left," then unavailable by the time you try to submit the order. Probably bots screwing up the system as usual.

Flash's boots look transparent. If there's a regular version I may get him even though I already have the target exclusive one from before.

Well, I ordered Huntress from Best Buy hoping I might luck out and get the chase version, which is what I really wanted. She arrived today, and this is what was in the package:


Lucky for me I'm an opener, so I fixed it so it looks like this, as it should.


I do wonder if I should have put it up on ebay as the "ultra-rare faceless version," LOL!

Check your local Books-A-Million store(s) if you're looking for the new wave with Red Hood. They had one of each Platinum when I saw them today.

I thought about picking up the Question because he does look really great. But he's not a character that I want for my collection so I left him for someone else to find.
