It's definitely not McFarlane, and from the description, it's a slightly larger scale. Looks awesome, and is tempting, but not for $50.

I will not be collecting another DC related line after this. My purchases had really stalled lately until Power Girl, Cold, and Guy. I pretty much cherry pick the figures I want and leave the rest. It was sorely tempting to start again with 5 points Batman Animated, but I've got EVERYTHING Kenner did.

The only reasons I'd start collecting the next DC line after McFarlane's would be

1. The new figures were compatible with DC Icons. Or....
2. The new figures were SO GOOD that they're absolute game changers.

Both of those seem unlikely. But to be honest, I doubt McFarlane will loose the DC license. They put out a lot of figures each year, which is ultimately what Warner Bros./DC wants. And McFarlane seems to have done a better job of not having figures linger on the pegs in 2024, which makes retailers happy.

Good points. But to be fair, do all the retailers even carry DC Multiverse anymore? I've not seen anything Batman related at WalMart in a while.

Not all Walmarts carry DC Multiverse or Super Powers. My local Walmart as well as the store 30 minutes east of me no longer carry either line. But all other surrounding Walmarts still carry DC figures. I've not heard of any Target, GameStop, or Books-A-Million stores dropping DC Multiverse. The only online retailer I've heard about not carrying DC Multiverse anymore is Nerdzoic. But he put out a video saying that he wanted to carry the line, but someone at McFarlane suddenly decided to not sell to him. His best guess was that someone at McFarlane didn't think his store was big enough.

I’m assuming that when the Superman movie hits, all Walmarts will carry the shipper like with “The Batman” movie. I’m hopping that will get some older figures back into stores that have been empty. I hit a target today and they had a Batman vs. superman case….3 platinum armored Batman and 3 false god Superman. Odd an entire case of platinums. That was it.

My local Walmart is in the middle of a store reset. I'm hoping they bring back DC Multiverse.

A shipper for the new Superman movie would make sense because there's a lot of rumored product. There are regular DC Multiverse, deluxe figures, a mega figure, Collector Edition figures, Super Powers figures, a Super Powers vehicle and play set, and a statue.

I'd prefer Jada Toys get the license next. If their Street Fighter line is any indication, DC figures from them would be amazing.

Based on the comments that I've seen on Reddit, Jada couldn't handle the DC license. While people were quick to praise Jada's Street Fighter figures, they were also quick to point out they only release a few figures per year. Any company with the DC license has to be able to get product out for fans to buy.

My biggest issue with starting a new line of figures is having to begin all over again at square 1. Batman, Superman. Aquaman. I mean, there's still far too much of that with McToys and we're YEEEEEEARS into this license. I'll start collecting coins, stamps or hot wheels before I jump on another action figure bandwagon for DC Comics.
