Always a bummer to see new figures with no extra hands, aquaman could have used a couple extra right hands at least there is so much dead space in that package it really drives home there is NOTHING else. The lightening effects Superman comes with don't even feel like an accessory.

I think Superman looks good. I'm a fan of the Page Puncher body. I think they ever corrected the giant fist problem(which they failed to do with classic).

But it could look better. It's right out of Hasbro's tool box. It's just a full repaint with a new head. Though unlike past figures, Mcfarlane seems to have not reused the sculpted boots. Removing the cuffs would have been nice but I think they sorta work here or at least not distracting.

Still they aren't doing the sculpting they did at the start. It doesn't matter how much they oversculpt of those Page Punchers og designs and Batman's.

They didn't do any significant sculpt for these figures.

I don't mind smart reuse. They should absolutely be doing that. Mcfarlane Toys though hasn't been smart about it and not sculpting when they should.

Still not a weak wave so far.

Is Superman on a new body? He has cuffs on his wrists which would indicated that this body was for another figure. But the two bodies they typically reuse are the Jon Kent Superman and the TK Blue Beetle and I don't see any sculpted boots on the shins.

Someone posted these to Reddit. Not sure if they're legit since the image quality is low. Batman is an all black version of the 3J Batman with yellow for the emblem and belt. John is on the Kyle Rayner body with his Bronze Age(?) costume with no mask.

Superman is on the page punchers Superman body which was recently used again for the Classic smiling Superman release. Only differences are no cape and the lower legs.
