Got my Knightfall 2 pack yesterday and here's where I'm at with Batman. I don't mind the cel-shading but I hate battle damage.




My issue right now is the head and neck. They're painted blue so I can't use acetone to get rid of the battle damage on the neck or the exhaustion shading around the eyes and cheeks. I'd like to cover them up with paint, but the main blue used on the figure is very vibrant. I'm not sure I could get something that would actually match the figure. I also really like that shade blue so repainting the whole figure is not happening. My only other option might be to add more shading around the eyes, nose, and cheeks. Give it a Jim Aparo shaded look. With the gritted teeth, the additional shading might look better.

What do you guys think? Should I take the path of least resistance and add dark blue shading around the face and neck? Or should I try to find some paint that matches the main shade of blue to give it a cleaner look?

Its not battle damage, just a late night with catoman. Thats why bane beat him, bats was outta bat juice. As for paints check your local comic,, hobby, model shops if ya have any that carry paints. A local shop here has an assload of various paints from war hammer to fantasy colors and more ao if ya got any by ya check em out. I know that the shop by me has a blue ya would need but damned if i can remember it,

Add more cell shading & get rid of the battle damage.

Are you suggesting the mark on his neck is a hickey?

I seem to be in a dead zone for models and miniatures because I'm typically limited to what I find at Hobby Lobby. HL has one shade of blue that might work, but I don't feel very hopeful atm. Looking up comic, model, hobby, and gaming shops in my area, I found two that are maybe's on having what I need. Everything else is a bust. If they carry models or miniatures, they aren't advertising it.

It's a run-of-the-mill Batman, that had you not told me it's Dick Grayson I probably wouldn't even know. So of course it's widely available. Gold Label is reserved for highly sought after individual characters.

Either way, it's a pass for me. My purchase rate seems to have hit about 15 to 20 percent of these new releases. My interest in the line dwindles with each announcement. Hopefully the diehards will continue their support, and McToys will release some better choices before the 4th quarter of 2028 so I can add something to my collection. Do you hear that entertainment earth? You have pushed my date back on blue Superman 3 months in a row. I think I may have made a mistake in ordering from EE. It will most assuredly by my last.

I’m surprised no one seems to be that excited about Dan Mora’s Green SuperBatman. It’s so weird, but I love the design and the fusion idea of three of them into one like DBZ fusion.

The green in the design suggests to me that it's something of a modern updated take on Composite Superman.
