I have no idea what the fuck Snyder was thinking with that Doomsday design. Just absolute ass.

I would like one final Henry Cavill Superman since the reboot movie is coming next year (and I’m sure McFarlane’s movie focus will shift to the new universe), but being in a two-pack with that knockoff cave troll is a big turnoff.

Judging from the pictures I assume the write-up on the front page is an error but it's not uncommon for a DC license to make Batmen over Supermen 3-to-1.

I thought it was pretty clear the intent was to grow more bone parts as it adapted to being injured/killed. Considering your starting point is Zod's dead body I can live with that, it's the stupid power surges that followed every time he grew one that annoyed me.

To this day I still don't understand everyone's aversion to either buying one figure from a two-pack loose on eBay or (even better) buying the two-pack and selling the one you don't want. Are you afraid Harbinger or some other mental midget will call you that dirty word I dare not speak here?

I was collecting comics at the time. It was buy any and everything. Multiple copies. Board and bag. Many of them I never even read. Thankfully I had the sense to trade them at the height of popularity to a comic shop before the collapse.

I haven't seen an announcement outside of Lightning Lad (and maybe Mr. Terrific even though he's New 52) which generates a bit of interest on my part. Hopefully all these announced figures will sell. Wish there were fewer Batmen (how many have been announced in the last 2 months? 12? 15? And that Doomsday...not a good look, and I liked BvS.) The last figure I bought on a shelf was Fire. Before that, I can't even remember. Preordered Huntress. She was great. I've only seen that figure at retail in one store. Simon Baz? No. Jessica Cruz would have been a definite yes - not Simon. And still no sign of Black Canary. Any Black Canary half as good as the Sideshow version would be a smash hit. Some of these "skips" and "bypasses" are complete headscratchers.

I've always thought this version of Doomsday looked like a giant turd monster, but he DOES have a Cave Troll face.

I agree about the weird omissions/character choices by McFarlane. Then, when there are figures I want, half the time they seem to have tiny heads and freakishly long legs. Too many misses, not enough hits.

We'll probably never see it, but I think McFarlane could do a great job with Warlord, Deimos, Arak, etc..

His movie figures never pegwarm near me. I live in Massachusetts btw. I've seen 9 million of those Robin King figures, but the movie ones go quick.
