This is really one of the most perfect waves. You get the perfect Superman for many…especially the Super Powers fans, you get Super powers Dr. Fate and platinum JSA Dr. Fate then you get silver age/ Super Powers Two-Face and platinum 90’s onward Two-Face.

Todd has the FOMO dialed up to Warp Factor 9. They look cool, but the Superman is using the Christopher Reeve body so it's not a completely new figure. Only McFarlane could make toys look rare.

Better than the $60+ eBay Sellers will charge. They weren't on Amazon and were sold out at BBTS by the time (6 minutes after listing for fuck's sake) I found them. I think it's a strong possibility this Wave was produced in lesser quantity than previous Waves. And while it doesn't effect other collectors I still have a Pro account and had $10 in online credit. In addition, I'm not going to sweat $2 a figure to get the Superman and Dr Fate I've been waiting for since the line kicked.

p.s. EVERYTHING continues to increase in price. For us to bitch about it continuously is out of touch with our reality. I include myself in that observation as I'm guilty of it frequently. I also screamed at a neighbor yesterday because, they were letting their hound deuce on my freshly cut lawn while obliviously talking on their phone.

I've been thinking about the Batman Returns wave, and I'm wondering what the chase figures might be. If they got the likeness rights, I would think Catwoman with no mask and a shredded costume would make the most sense, followed by a maskless Batman. If they really wanted to surprise us, they'd give us a charred corpse of Max Shreck!

The DC Direct super powers figures went up for pre-order and again no Amazon.

This is the third DC McFarlane wave in a row not to be on Amazon as of late

I’m reading on Facebook that most think it’s because of the high return rates on mcfarlane due to people buying so many hoping for the platinum and then returning the rest. I don’t know if there is any evidence for that or just speculation, but makes sense to me.

Variants just don’t work online. It’s an in store only thing and this isn’t 1998 anymore.
