This might be the best looking Captain America figure I've seen. I'll take this whole wave, thanks.

Neat looking, but what's the deal with the electric shield effect?

The ONLY nitpick I have at this price point is no "plain" comic shield. The holes aren't a big deal, but it would have been PERFECT otherwise.

Still excited.

I get that supply chain woes and pandemic inflation is causing all toy prices to go up, but at this price I would have at least wanted pinless leg joints. We are seeing more and more pinless in the arms, but not so much in the legs.

That's my biggest issue with it as well. But for me, it's enough if a deal breaker that kills my interest in the figure. If I had a spare Captain America comic shield available it wouldn't be an issue for me, but unfortunately I don't.

I totally get that. And I think that'll be the issue for others as well. Hasbro will only have themselves to blame.

But it's not plain. You can see breaks in the bands in the right light. I'm more disappointed that it has big ass holes in it. That SUCKS. We get a totally new (and larger) shield that looks GREAT...but with plug holes? Booooooo...wth Hasbro? Terrible design decision.

Nice! I have a sealed copy of the 80th anniversary Cap, but I'll get this so I have a good, classic version, loose.

That's what I'm saying, I wanted a plain shield with no holes

Oh my bad. I apparently didn't read that well. Yeah it sucks big time. I can't imagine why that idea wasn't shot down. Give us a new shield, that's the correct size...but put 3 big ass holes in it? STUPID.

Ideally those attachments for his shield would be magnetic, so they can just snap on and off without leaving holes.

Too late for me. I'm done with 6" action figures, only statues now, but i'm happy for all of you, it's a very nice Cap.

Yes. That would have been ideal. I could even forgive Hasbro for this bonehead decision if they included plugs. While not preferable it would be better than this.

I'm so glad I never found the 80th Cap at Walmart now or paid scalper prices for him. I always thought Cap should be light blue... which I guess is why the only Cap I have is Wolf Cap that I got super cheap at ROSS. Having spent only 6 bucks on him makes that $31 price tag easier to swallow. Thank god this is not a Walmart exclusive.

Me either. All those other guys are smoking crack.

I think the electric effects just go around the shield without actually plugging into it. Hasbro isn't retarded enough to give Cap a shield with holes in it.

Uh guys, they sent the figure to a reviewer who indeed confirmed that the shield has huge honkin' peg holes in it.

Unparalleled Universe on Youtube has one in-hand and clearly shows how the shield has three distinct holes in it which the effect pieces plug into.

Ahhh okay, I avoid video reviews like the plague (all those sausage fingers fumbling with toys, terrible voicework and lots of awkward pauses/dead air), but good to know it's just me being unobservant haha
