I agree. That Batman figure is the highlight of the wave for me too. I wonder what the designer of that figure could have done with a regular Batman figure, given the opportunity.

This wave looks amazing. And I don't normally do DC figures.

Wally West killed a bunch of characters in a recent storyline.

It figures that Mattel's DC stuff stops looking like complete shit right as they lose the license. Geez. I mean, prices have dropped on the recent Lobo BAF so I picked one up on ebay and the figure is totally rad and the quality on these seems as good.

Generally I agree. I was really wowed and surprised at the quality of the Aquaman SDCC set last year. Was my first dip into 6 inch Multiverse in a while at that point. From there it has stayed solid. Not every single one, but most are on point, especially at 20 bucks or less.

I've been in the Japanese import game for a while now that when a 20 dollar fig is solid, I can forgive things here and there with that in mind. Just gotta give judgement with that in mind, and if you do, these are really well done.

I don't buy Multiverse, unless I find them for $5 or less, but I am a sucker for Nightwing figures. As one of my favourite characters, I am usually at least tempted by any figure of him. Except this one. Something about his head and hair are just awful. That said, Beast Boy looks really good and I may pick him up if I run across him.

Mattel should have done this as a Teen Titans wave. This is a nice set but it could've been an awesome set if they had done Raven & Cyborg instead of Black Lightning & John Stewart. Also a classic Wally West Kid Flash in the yellow & red costume would have been better than the rebirth version. Seems like an obvious choice to me.

Wow, I'm the complete opposite. HUGE fan of Nightwing, but I only display one figure of him (which is a custom I made) because I think that most of the headsculpts for Nightwing look like trash - except for this one and the original DCUC one. For this Rebirth one, the blue on the shoulders is what bothers me.

Nightwing's mask looks like it's covered in glitter. Like he went to a strip club and got motoboated by a dancer.

I think thats just the camera that they used for the pic. good cameras pick up the slightest speckles on a figure but it doesnt really look like that in person.

It could metal flake plastic. Or just metallic paint.

Uh yeah, that's why 15 of my DCU figures ended up having gummy leg joints and I had to replace my Batman Beyond twice due to that.

All of McFarlane's other figures of similar size and complexity to their upcoming DC line are still selling at $19.99 per figure, even with significantly greater articulation, so...
