From the title I dared to hope this might be the "Dark Flash" from towards the end of Mark Waid's run on the Flash. As usual, I'm living in the past.

THAT plus an old school Jesse Quick I would be in for in a heartbeat.

Looking into it, it's basically a modern take on the Black Flash character. The "Dark" moniker is just added on due to the Dark Knights Metal story in relation to the Batman Who Laughs.

checked again ,bunch of mcfarlanes restocked but nothing new or dark flash yet. I wish Fan channels sold gold label exclusives instead or these could be a timed exclusive like Mcfarlane has done before.

I truly feel that anyone that's complaining about this figure and has taken the time to complain about it is just upset it's another difficult McFarlane that they feel compelled to collect and instead of just accepting the fact that they are difficult to find which should be the most fun part of it all they will discredit the figure to try to convince themselves they don't need it even though their mind has been locked on it now they know it exists.

I'm just finding about this and the Shazam for the first time today and I'm like let's gooooo!!!

So your reason for collecting is the difficulty it is to find figures you want...? Wow, the "thrill of the hunt" type. I actually like figures for their sakes--to have a character I like to look at & would like to pose & think of stories for. Maybe even do a kind of D&D type roleplaying. Seems an odd motivation to get them only because of the "collectible" nonsense aspect of it that just comes down to the company being dumb and not stocking them well enough. Might as well be buying figures that are priced for no reason at hundreds of dollars so you can feel that you've accomplished something by throwing money around.

I personally the like the convenience to just order it and get it.
I can appreciate the surprise of seeing a figure early. But I see no reward in a poor distribution system.

I have no joy in someone else have no chance to grab the figure because their Walmarts refuse to stock anything.
