Really like the first arc. Not sure if the Owls have been touched on in the past, but I don't remember them. It's a nice new piece of Batman history for me, something that can be a part of long term Batman lore (if it isn't already). I'm assuming even if it is, that this will flesh their background out for modern times.

Plus, the issue where all the panels were upside down or backwards - reading that on your phone when the screen auto rotates drove me crazy, which is what was happening to Batman. Thought that was a cool way to use the new media to drive the story.
FINALLY! someone who understands the phone experience of issue #5 lol. Read my earlier post on this in this thread and tell me if that sounds similar to your experience?

e) want unlimited access to reading a particular comic series but do not want to invest in the physical storage space in house to own them

Consider all of the above before venturing. I personally prefer paper in my hand...however categories a&e is the deciding factor for me. I still get HC and TPB. However, I only get them if the story is phenomenal and i simply must own it in hand.
Im in that boat, except for a). But, I'm trying to budget it for now, it's been nice reading comics again. Offline hobby activity.

Yes, absolutely. Same thing happened here. Thought it was an App issue. I locked orientation, and then realized it was supposed to be like that. The biggest issue for me was the swiping. Kept sending me backwards. FUCK! But, in the end, very cool.

Yeeeeees! When I told my buddy about that experience this was his response: "dude you should go work in marketing for DC digital. You just exploited an error in communication and justified it as a pleasurable interactive digital experience. I'm sure plenty of other people bitched about getting there money back because their digital issue was broken"

Lol

Sorry don't have the app, besides my phone is slow it would take forever to read it. I do look forward for the current issues which is in my box but I have been told that it ends in issue seven anyway and this is the final set-up. Should be nice I am glad I jumped on these.

Reading them all together would probably be cool, but I don't like to wait. If I know something new is out, I want it now or not at all.

I hear ya. I hate having to wait a month for a new issue! However I tried to find a series I like to keep up with each week so I at least don't get bored.
