What's up fellow Arkers,
Came across this list recently and wanted to post the link here for those of you who have expressed interest in recent threads about New 52 titles but are waiting for the Hardcover or Trade. The first releases of collected editions will be in May of this year! Unfortunately, for those of you interested in finding out what all the hype about New 52 Aquaman is all about...you'll have to wait until September To find out where the release dates of your favorite characters collected editions fall click this link: DC Comics New 52 Collected Editions List

Batman by Scott Snyder is the version I highly recommend. My gf hates Batman and has refused to read him in the past. I convinced her to try this series after telling her how amazing issue #5 was. She read it out of curiosity expecting to tell me how crappy it was and how I over hyped it. She walked away saying, "wow...this series is really good."
I actually bought the single issues of this particular series after #5 just because I personally enjoyed it and wanted this story arc displayed on my wall. These are the ONLY single issues of ANY comic series that didn't come with an action figure that I own. I hope you find it an enjoyable read when its available. On a side note: just picked up New 52 Catwoman and its enjoyable. The first two issues had one of the best sex scenes in it since Mr. And Mrs. Smith in terms of how badass couples release stress. It even caused a stir on Fox News (seriously YouTube it).

She believes him to be a sociopath. Especially after reading JLA: Tower of Babel. She doesn't like that after all the years that have passed he's still screwed up in the head over the death of his parents, or such is her perception. She also hates Spiderman for what she calls "daddy issues". Suffice it to say she doesnt like him but enjoyed the court of owls story so far.

Well at least she has legit reasons haha. I think. Thanks for the link btw. Really makes it easy for me just to buy these instead of going out and buying every comic if I remember too.

Collected editions are nice but I'll stick with single issues. Though trying to think of any series that I actually want a trade of that I didn't pick up as singles.
Otherwise thanks for heads up. |
