Todd seems to have no interest in Collectors of 1:18 scale figures with many POA...

Bit interesting, would have to see some reviews and see how they look upclose. If anything have to applaud Todd because getting into this space is basically going up against Eaglemoss, except with articulation, however limited. The 6-7" scale is quite competitive as well as the 3.75." It would be interesting if they had uncanny good facesculpts, similar to how Hasbro Star Wars Vintage looks a bit better than their Black Series as of late, but I know that's not to be expected of McFarlane Toys (human wise). I would take these over say pins or pogs.

As much as I like to have my figure lines interact, I don't mind that the DC ones are now 7".

I've accepted that the 6 inch ones did NOT sell under Mattel, and these are, so clearly people want 7 inch DC figures not 6 inch ones. |

I think it's more of a product quality issue than buyers not wanting 6" DC toys.. Mattel's 6" toys weren't as profitable because there were numerous 6" lines of better quality. Todd's are selling better because they're higher quality than Mattel's & there's fewer lines in competition of this scale.

Are kids really the target demo for these Page Punchers? If you want to get kids hooked on comics, buying them trades is a better investment.

How is it possible that the only line people don't want in 6" is DC? Seems much more likely that the Mattel stuff wasn't that good.

Other than WWE, most Mattel "boys toys" kind of suck. Although, I don't think Todd is an improvement. |

The 6" DC figures from Mattel just always felt below standard. There was always room for improvement yet no sign that Mattel had any interest in making those improvements.

Todd's line has it's issues, but at least it feels like that his company is at least trying to put out a passable figure that at least feels like it can hold it's own against the competition and other modern action figure contemporaries. |

I'm so dissapointe and how they can paint Batman but lack the details on Superman (Like the S Shield on the cape) and how many figures we have with the Rebirth costume but zero with the Reborn one.(Except for the big ones from Mattel and Spin Master).

Oi now I love me some MotU. Though they have a weird knack of not being able to sculpt He-Man's head properly on so many of his figures lol. But overall the Origins and Masterverse lines have been a lot of fun and my kid loves the Mega Construx MotU as well. Ok I say my kid, but aye we had fun building that Castle Grayskull set together and the little figures are only a couple inches tall yet beat the snot out of many full size action figures lol

Come to think of it I used to have an awesome Superman figure I was very fond of about ten year ago or so. Fairly sure that was Mattel. I haven't found any of McFarlane's that appealing like that one. I'm not sure what I did with it but I think I maybe gave it to a friend's kid. Like a fool |

Lol. I'd kinda forgotten there was a time when Tyler was actually clean shaven. And aw, my mate Ollie I miss you buddy. And aye I'm missing Melissa a bit too lately though not as much as Ollie because wow, two years since Arrow ended? Hm. The pandemic began shortly after Arrow ended? Hm. Coincidence? Aye probably. But just in case. PLEASE COME BACK AND SAVE US, OLLIE! |

If these would have been 3.75-4 inch, there would have been some potential. Now I'll pass though.

You're absolutely right. I was really shocked they didn't even do one in the Silver Age Batman box set.

Next thing you know, Todd is going to buy 400 acres of lush meadow to raise 500 head of cattle and feed them a steady diet of baked beans, cauliflower, and chickpeas.
