I am saying there is no future for DC Mattel items it's dead before the next figures even see the shelves...

Heck if you look at Marvel stuff has been sitting in Kmart or Target since October 2012.

Nobody knows the Batzarro back story because Mattel and DC thought it was a good Idea to go to the most obscure Villain possible
If you know Bizarro's back story, Batzarro's isn't too hard to figure out, especially for DC fans. Again, little kids who only know Batman and Superman from the cartoons might have trouble with it.

the whole reason there isn't a proper scale one is because neither Mattel or DCC seems to be ambitious enough to produce one. They certainly make the money off of it and theyed sell on Ebay, Craigslist, and Amazon for 100$ + but for some reason neither of these companies are jumping on it other then mattel saying 6 months ago maybe now no.. This is what Malcom said in Jurassic Park "They are so preoccupied with weather or not they could, they didn't stop and think if they should". It does show how greedy Mattel was with the club. I have a feeling DCC will put out a Doomsday

Mattel offered one but did not reach the required amount to make him.

I am aware because I signed up and now stand a chance of getting nothing because of the failure. I can't wait to see what happens if a figure sells out on one of the 63% doesn't get one

Well I picked up one of the Chinese Superboy figures, and he came in yesterday. It's weird in person the head looks better, but in pictures not so good. He does suffer from the same problem that Superboy Prime has with being too tall as well.

To be fair, it's nothing ventured, nothing gained. You didn't lose any money on their failure to make their financial goal.

Blunder... For people who actually wanted the figures nothing ventured everyrthing lost... I wanted 14 new figures this year and may get 0. I wanted them for me. So if you ventured you lost

I don't think you understand what I meant. Nothing was ventured here. Yes, we lost the chance to get 14 figures, but we didn't lose the money on those missed-out figures. We signed up, yes, but we didn't lose anything we didn't already have. The initial investment fee was refunded. In effect, it's as though the whole scenario never happened.

Toys and toy lines get cancelled all the time, regardless of hype or audience, for a multitude of reasons. But none of us have lost money over that, have we?

That was the point I was making.

And for your information, I wanted the figures. I would have sold most of the ones they revealed (only really care about Conner Superboy and Hook Hand Aquaman), but I wanted to see what they would produce, if nothing else. So I ventured. And by your thinking, I 'lost,' but really I didn't. I got my money back, and I'm still going to have a chance to get the two I really wanted of the 5/6 revealed (don't really know how to count Doomsday). So, from my personal experience, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

That doesn't even make sense. Why would you get charged any fees?

Maybe he borrowed money he didn't have and he is talking about interest.

What bank do you use? It sounds like it is time to find a new bank.

Actually, that could be dependent on cash flow; a few years ago, a number of banks started issuing monthly fees if you didn't have X amount in your account on average, or Y amount in check deposits per month, or Z amount in direct deposits per month.

Still, the return fees are nothing but bull. You do need to find a new bank, regardless.

I also have the DCIE Ice figure, and if you think that Superboy has an ugly face sculpt wait until you see her.

Yikes, Superboy does look quite bad in photos. From the moment he was announced, though, I had already decided that I would put a YJ Superboy head on that body if I ever got one. It wouldn't exactly be accurate to the show, but it'd be better than the white solar suit version.
