@Donmecca
@warmachine I'm so confused...yeah, it does look like they are. However, Nova's a smaller buck and that definitely won't do for Batman....but others like the Flash etc...might work. I'll need to see for myself. I'll check some LCS's tomorrow to see if I can nab one and then post comparative pics...that is, if I find one worth pulling the trigger on...it won't be that Batman. |

I cannot tell if I am imagining things in the Nova comparison pic but it looks like Nova is not standing straight up but rather ever so slightly spread legged. Probably my imagination.
That being said, Bats looks so tiny from a muscularity standpoint. Shame too since height wise, Bats being as tall as Nova would work for me. Awesome pics Raf and TBM! Even if that group of TBM's Kree soldiers does make me jealous LOL. |

The photo also made me recognize that Nova is a smaller buck... |

Honestly, the more I read about them, and the more I see of them, the more I think this line will be worth getting and displaying as it's own collection. It does help that I don't have more than a handful of DCUC sized figures, so I don't have a massive collection of DC figures that'll tower over these like some other collectors do.

Has anyone seen Flash out in the wild yet? He and Green Arrow are the two from this wave that I'd really like to get.
As for Arrow, there are things I want to get him for, but I'm not a fan of that costume. If it was his classic one, maybe. Quote:
So what is the actual size of these? everyone's saying their not the same height as the DCC or DCU figures and they said they're even shorter then legends...... if that's the case what the hell can we do with him if they can go and pose next to any of the other figures?????

To whoever was looking forward to Green Arrow, I'd advise you not to get him. He's very undetailed and gangly, and pretty much his only redeeming factor are the bow and arrows he comes with.

The problem is I have nearly every figure Mattel released (at least right now as I'm planning to sell off a huge lot of them). If I didn't already have a huge DC collection and wanted something to start that was fresh and new, this would be the way to go. However, it isn't, and I'm not sure I want to start a DC line over from scratch.

No, the link was to a facebook page where someone was scaling Icons Batman with other figures. Gohan, Goku, Figuarts Joker, Figuarts Harley, Legends Ghost Rider, and some big Hawkeye.

Why is it so important to some collectors that their DC and Marvel collections scale well next to each other? Seriously, I watched the most incredibly immature review of Icons Green Arrow last night. The guy ripped off the figure's quiver strap when it slightly annoyed him, and later in the video proceeded to have a huge hissy fit over the figure being just slightly shorter than the average Marvel Legends figure...

It's a big deal for me, because when you have Batman standing next to Spider-Man (or whoever) and he is a full head taller than Batman, it bugs me. Not only on an OCD standpoint, but because it's not at all accurate.

True, but he's also from a completely different universe than Nova...

Just came here to say....you had ONE JOB, DC, ONE! Seriously, how hard is it to take a competitors figure, set it down on the table and say, "OK guys, we need to make him THIS tall, and then MOST of the people who buy those, will buy THESE..."
These guys are even shorter than imports, SMDH... Last edited by KcKilla; 11-19-2015 at 04:51 PM.. |

![]() I found Batgirl much more likable in the animated shows than Robin because she didn't complain all the damn time and wasn't always Batgirl 100% of the time. I really wanna see this line continue as strong as it has been so that we can maybe see some non-Batman animated figures later and some more obscure characters from Batman like the Gray Ghost.
