I shoulda bought the bat signal off figure of the day. I didn't do it because I promised my wife a set of watches. She loves her hello kitty fake diamond studded watch I got her for christmas. She wants all of them, so I told her I'd get them. Not like I can say no. I told her I wouldn't buy anymore figures until I bought her watches or atleast gave her the money for it. I'm in the clear now...

Comics suck, imo. Too dark just for shock value. I wouldn't mind a Red Hood figure but we got Red Arrow in the last wave and Starfire in the Adam Strange two pack.

I am REALLY wanting Mattel to focus on New 52 style characters. Animal Man would be flipping sick, along with Andrew Bennett. Also, got Jay Garrick in the mail today! Another one for the Justice Society!!

I think that Mattel should just do a sub-line for New 52 like they did for Young Justice, Ed McGuinness' Public Enemies, Batman Legacy and Green Lantern Classics. That way, if it succeeds, great, if it fails, it fails. Then people who still want pre-New 52 figures of Huntress, Trickster, Lead, Cyclone, Monitor, Pariah, Harbinger, Granny Goodness, Aqualad, Donna Troy, Batwoman, Crimson Avenger, Shining Knight, Vigilante, Clayface III, Mad Hatter, Ra's Al Ghul, etc, etc. can still get their fix without waiting extra long because the slots are taken up by something from New 52 and the people who like New 52 can get a lot of figures faster.

My Mattel Extended Bat Family

The Mattel Batman Rogues (I do have the regular purple suit version Joker, but I actually like the black one that came with the Mad Love two pack, special thanks to ludovicotek for helping me get this one )

I was considering bolstering my shelf collection with these rare gems (Cassandra Cain Batgirl, masked Batman Beyond and Artemis WW variant), question is, should I open? Yes or no? Ordinarily I'd open these without a second thought but the packaging is minty fresh.

I'd be tempted as hell to open that Cassandra Cain, but don't do it!!! That was one of my most-wanted figures for a while but the prices on her are just too high. Keep that gal MOC. As for the other two, could go either way. I'd probably open at least the Batman Beyond. That's an awesome figure.

LOL, the thing is that if I opened the Batman Beyond, he'd simply be replacing Terry on the shelf, but Cassandra Cain and Artemis would actually be two new additions. Man, decisions decisions! The thing is, why did they have to make the packaging for Cassandra SO COOL???

In my opinion, keep them on card because (to me anyways) they're not really essential characters. Also, they're hella hard to find MOC haha

So I did some re-arranging to my DC shelf to fit in Jay Garrick, and he.is.flipping.cool. Looks great with the other JSA members. Which brings up a question/request.

My advice. . .keep an eyeball on those to see if you can stumble across them loose, cheap. Then sell your carded versions for loads of cash. I wouldn't open them.
