I know it's not strictly DCUC but the arkham lines gets mentioned here, so I'd just let anyone know, be real gentle wirh arkham asylum killer croc. After some posing of the arms, I put him down, went out and came home to see to see his left arm had fallen off

That is a common problem with Croc. You are the 9th person I know to say that, and it is all over the internet like a virus. The fact that DC has this thing priced at $40 for a piece of crap is outrageous.

a friend of mine just got titan Joker, I'll have to warn him. What is it, the sheer weight of the figure putting pressure on the joints or the clear plastic shoulder joints?

id say its the clear joints and the pressue..ive had quiet a few figures that are cast in clear plastic to break, its a shame when you spend that much on a figure and it breaks so easily..luckily my croc is hlding up great

yeah that could be a problem with joint application machines at the factory, ive bought several figures(various lines)that had this problem,,id say immerse them in hot water to loosen those points of articulation.

Really? I thought freezing the figure helped...obviously not in my case. But I'll bare that in mind when I eventually get Mr Freeze

Hot to loosen, cold to tighten

But I don't know that there's much one can do for those guys. I think Kenm had tips for how to fix them better than new, if/when Croc or Joker break an arm off.

Heating the figure in Hot water should make the joints more malleable and easier to pop off without breaking them.then apply a little WD-40 in the female joint connector.i usually have to use that technique for bow legged action figures and warped weapons, but it does work on tricky joints like biceps and hips.
when finished just pop the figure in some cold water to harden the joints again.

I see alot of talk about DCD AC Killer Croc and the arms issue. I can fix that problem if anyone wants. I did it with mine a few months ago and have done 5 other people who had the same issue. For $25.00 I can fix his arm and make it stronger than when it was made by DCD. On another note my newly aquiered DCD Oracle found her New Home.
Oracles New Home.

with money being tight, I couldn't afford the cost of shipping to the states and back to the land of tea and crumpets right now. Could you tell me what you did, or is it serious surgery?

His right arm just dropped off on my shelf. So I rushed him to surgery. I used a dremel and drilled a hole in both the arm and the inner shoulder. I put Gorilla glue in the shoulder hole and put an inch and a half wood screw in the hole and tightened it down. Let it dry for a few minutes then used the dremel to shave off the head of the screw making sure that the remainder did not pass the edge of the inner shoulder cup. I then put glue in the hole on the arm and turned the arm till it was flush with the body a vwa la Perfect working arm stronger than originally made with full articulation.

EDIT: If anyone has the separated arm issue I will gladly fix it for you for a minimum price.

Using a Dremel.
Step 1 : I drilled a guide hole for the 1 and 1/2 inch wood screw into his shoulder Cup.
Step 2 : I drilled a guide hole for the 1 and 1/2 inch wood screw into his Left arm socket.
Step 3 : Put Gorilla Glue into Guide Hole of the Shoulder Cup.
Step 4 : Screwed in the wood screw into his Shoulder cup
Step 5 : Shaved off Screw Head
Step 6 : Put Gorilla Glue into Guide Hole of the left Arm
Step 7 : Inserted wood screw into left arm
Step 8 : Rotated arm until flush with body of Croc
Step 9 : Preform Strength Test = Passed

I am a Stronger Killer Croc Now!!!!!!

hey does anyone know if they're releasing the Blackest Night Blue lantern Flash in his regular colors? I remember before they made the switch from DC Direct to DCC there was an announcement of this figure coming out (yes i know they're the same company but still)

if there's a DC Direct/DCC appreciation thread lemme know!

I'm assembling a Justice League line and only want superman and the DCnU green lantern, if you can find him PLEASE LOOK AT MY BST!@!!

I had my heart set on getting the DCUC Poison Ivy from mattycollector.com this morning (after missing out on Black Mask) and was all ready and waiting with the laptop on her page and refreshing every few minutes.

...then...I fell asleep for 10 minutes (I work overnights at a group home on weekends and I was exhausted)

...and after waking up I realized what had happened and panickedly clicked refresh....to see she was SOLD OUT.

This past weekend was rough, and I had been looking forward to getting Ivy today so that was just the perfect "kick in the nuts" to cap it off with....

...So all my friends here on the 'Ark, it would mean so much to me if any of you had bought any extras of Ivy and would be willing to sell me one?

(since I'd really love to not have to pay some skeezy scalper on ebay an arm and a leg for her...)
