I used to have 6 of the SDCC LOBO due to a mix up when I ordered them and they doubled my order. I kept one and sold the rest to friends and who ever I found that wanted one. Even sold one to a comic shop owner who never got one. He may be a little big, but he is one of my favorite DC figures ever made. Also high up the list is the C&C Darkseid and Solomon Grundy. As much as I like my Arkham City Grundy, he is a bit massive.

Most of the time I try to get two of each because my older son collects as well. It's not easy...

Lego is not producing a physical likeness they make a Mini Figure they say is the figure they represent when it comes to physical likeness thigs get very different. Why Spiderman really cannot be in a DC Comic and vice versa.

Yes I have the white version but with this photo I'm showing the red and dark red versions of Mary Batson. The dark red is a rare variant. Look closely... The one on the right side is the dark red version.

I noticed that. I have never seen the Dark red one anywhere but my retail outlets suck I've had to rely on Ebay and Amazon almost exclusively...

Oh by the way guys Mattel did commit a Bait and Switch by substituting the MOTU sub for the DC one. The intention of the bait-and-switch is to encourage purchases of substituted goods, making consumers satisfied with the available stock offered, as an alternative to a disappointment or inconvenience of acquiring no goods (or bait) at all, and reckoning on a seemingly partial recovery of sunk costs expended trying to obtain the bait. It suggests that the seller will not show the original product or service advertised but instead will demonstrate a more expensive product or a similar product with a higher margin.

In the United States, courts have held that the purveyor using a bait-and-switch operation may be subject to a lawsuit by customers for false advertising, and can be sued for trademark infringement by competing manufacturers, retailers, and others who profit from the sale of the product used as bait. However, no cause of action will exist if the purveyor is capable of actually selling the goods advertised, but aggressively pushes a competing product.

Dude, will you lay off!! Mattel is NOT forcing anyone to get the MOTUC sub. They are just going to reopen the sub for a day or two for those who might want to go to the MOTUC camp.

Is it only a bait and switch if they automaticly move your sub money from DC to MOTUC without your permission?

It opened and closed and I think a Grand total of 63% of the total DC thermo told Scott to shove his Favorite sub.

I will say the new retail line will cost the consumer $20-25 and that will be the MSRP.

I just got Booster Gold, Amazon not shipped yet, Blue collar version. Does that varient also come with skeets?

Surely they know that's not a competitive price. If they price it there, the line will surely fail quickly as retailers won't buy more than the initial offering (because consumers likely won't buy it). Star Wars can fetch that kind of money with the Black line; MAYBE Marvel can just because they are hot(-ter than DC) right now and they have BAF's included. DC can't/won't.

Besides, we have a new line to compare to -- 1966 Batman. I think Walmart is retailing them for $16.97?

You cannot compare the DCUC, and 1966 Line to one another the Figures are not both made by 4 Horseman it's like comparing a Watermelon to a Grape. There in lays the Problem why is Mattel paying so many outside companies to Mold figures? If they would just use one perhaps they would be able to sell things cheaper an stop having to foot the collectors with the bill

That is what they are already selling for up here and that is why they don't sell much. Batman line is $24.99 (same as the LCS charges!) and the Man of Steel one is, I think, $22.99. I've only bought one figure from those and it was when there was a 30% off sale at TRU. I wanted the Frank Miller Batman but they had like 5 so I was going to wait for a sale but forgot about when the sale actually happened lol. That figure is the only one that has sold out up here. Still pretty easy to find all the rest of DC and Batman figures because of the price.

Toy$ R U$ now theres a company that robs you. I bought Green Lantern Classic Manhunter Robot for $14.99 at KMart Hour later I was in a Toys R Us and same figure $22.99. I wonder who gets the $8.00? If a Club figure was in a Toys R us I'd bet they'd charge at least $25 if not $30

Yeah, I never really pay full price for anything there. They have a 25%-30% off sale on something every week. Usually every 3-6 weeks all Marvel or DC or Transformers, etc will be on sale. If I ever have to buy something at full price I just don't open it until a sale happens so then I can end up paying a normal price.

YOu can't compare them because one is just based off Gotham City Impostors while the other is a real legitimate DC line.

I'm sure Walmart, Kmart, and Target aren't too different. I never understood why Canadians have to pay more for somethings (clothes, toys, books) and less on others (medications). Can't get dressed but at least I don't have a headace, Hey

Clothes at major retailers [walmart, target, ect] are roughly the same. It is when something comes in a box is when it gets more expensive due to having to pay extra to have French on it.

A lot of stuff doesn't actually have any French on the packaging. It can't cost much more, if any, to run out French of trilingual packaging. We are talking pennies at best. Remember, products make changes to their boxes all the time. Adding or changing something on a package never makes the price go up anywhere else.
