Is it just a straight swap? It looks good.

Pretty much just a heat and pop swap.

Nice. I might make the switch and hunt one of those down. The DCUC Guy has kind of a big head.

Funny enough, I have that Guy for sale. I prefer the regular DCU head since that is how he looked originally.

BTW, what is this I'm hearing that the Wave 7 Flash was given the wrong body? I only ask because I might have to buy a new Flash since the wing on the right leg of mine has cracked (which is strange, as I have never touched it) and I'm going to try to find one for as cheap as possible, but want to make sure I get the right body.

It's not the wave 7 Flash it was the All Star reissue that has the wrong body. Instead of the medium build body like the original release they used the larger body with the larger chest like the one used on Superman.

Which All-Stars version? There was one in the 75th anniversary packaging and one in the longer packaging.

EDIT:

So I just bought Elasti Girl off Matty with ease, which was surprising. Now I can replace my broken one that DR told me they had no more stock to exchange her with. -_-

From All-Star Flash Variation - The DC Universe Classics (DCUC) Info Archive
Quote:
If you look closely at the All-Star Flash shipping with wave 17, you may notice it’s a little different. Instead of being a straight reissue, this figure uses the newer shoulder design, and the larger Superman/Batman torso buck, making the Flash look like he’s been in the gym since his last release. In the comparison pic below, the original version is on the left.

I for one prefer a more sleek flash, but that's just my opinion.

Yeah, the W7 one's body is much better. However, the paint seems more refined on the Superman body one.

Unfortunately, it will arrive after the Toys for Tots bin at TRU is gone. I just dropped off a bunch of stuff again. Not as much as last year, sadly, as last year I donated about $500 worth of figures.

Hey guys, is there a trick for fixing stuck hips? I got reverse Flash from China and it seems his hips might be glued as they don't move forward or backward. Trying boiling and all that. Everything just seems to make the plastic bend and I don't want it to rip off.

Heat it up and then put him in the freezer for almost a half hour. Take him out and then move the legs slowly and they should snap from the ice and work fine. That is how I fixed Batman Beyond, Azreal Batman, Starman, and Hourman.

Yeah, so that is fine. As soon as I get my Elasti Girl, I'm going to open her, switch her, and then contact Matty saying I want to return her for a refund as she is broken.

Anyone want to buy Ra's al Ghul from me? Haven't taken him out of the box or anything. He arrived the other day and both myself and the wife were just... underwhelmed.

I wish I could cancel my membership before Batzarro ships, because I know I won't be able to unload him for even a bucket of warm spit.

Take a can of compressed air, turn it upside down, and spray directly into the joint. It will quick freeze the joint and let you move it with no problem. I've done this several times with my DCUC stuck hips and have had a 100% success rate.

Like I said Batzarro will be on the web selling for about a penny each. Think of it this way Mattel lost $300 for about 18$ had they shown another figure for December the Sub would have done better. This shows just how little Mattel is connected to the DC fan base. Oh well what can you do sit back and wait for MOTU to fail and watch as Scott Neitlich crys and the fans of the other line he failed laugh at him.
