I saw the new Mattel stuff at TRU today and they are garbage. They don't include an abcrunch, which is an insult. The paint apps look like horse **** too. Flash's face looks like he is blushing or something because it was all a deep pink. However, the biggest insult goes to the Hulkbust... I mean Justice Buster. It is just a giant generic piece of plain gray plastic. There don't seem to be any sort of details on it. It looks like one of those cheap knock-off toys of a Hulkbuster you would find in Dollar Tree.

I got a chance to see most of the new Mattel figures in person today. I am thoroughly not impressed. One Green Arrow's right hand was a misformed blob with zero definition and half of the figures have no waist articulation. What I found sad was the head sculpt on the $10 movie Batman was better than the one on the $20 figure. I had high hopes but I feel like they took a major step backward from DCUC rather than staying equal or taking a step forward.

I was all for the BvS Multiverse figures, and I'm still looking forward to them, but... what the frak Mattel? Are you seriously going to overpack Batman THAT much? I get that some out there won't want to buy another HC Superman, but do they also think that there will be so few people interested in completing the C&C? Granted, the last time they did a C&C this big it was the GL movie's Paralax... so maybe that is part of it...

HOLY ****!!!!

There are 8 figures total to make that gun, so why not just put all 8 in each case?

Then again, given that the BAF is the grappling gun, it's like Mattel isn't even trying anymore.

Well, the C&C figures are just the ones we all know already (AB, B, WW and S). We don't know yet what the other 2 figures of the C&C will be. The ones your probably referring to are the kids figures that look like a continuation of the total heroes line. Those are 6' too and yes, they're putting out all kinds of Batman figures.

Yes, but what I'm saying is that don't confuse the two 6 inch toylines. One is multiverse and the other one is just like the total heroes toyline.

Lol, again, that's more of a kids toyline. It's just like the total heroes one. The multiverse however...all we know as of yet are the 2 batmans but one is the armored suit.

I'm just talking about the Multiverse figures, not the Basic figures. Look at the case ratios for the Multiverse figures. Mix 1 contains 1 Superman, 4 Batman, and 3 Armored Batman figures, while Mix 2 has 1 Superman, 3 Batman, 2 Wonder Woman, and 2 Armored Batman figures...

My point here is that it's going to be harder to find the non-Batman figures and to complete the C&C grapnel gun... and this is only the first set of these. There's four more on their way after these. At least one of which is another version of Batman, so who knows how those case ratios are going to work out...

I can understand splitting up the eight figures needed to complete the C&C grapnel gun into two seperate waves, but with four unique figures in each wave, and eight figures per case, there should really be two of each in the cases. Mix 2 comes close, but still shortpacks Superman in-favor of the already ridiculously overpacked Batman.

Looks like Mattel will have to just take it's lumps instead of learning from Hasbro's BAF mistakes from last year's Winter Soldier wave. Welcome back to BAFs Mattel.

So it looks like the other 4 figures are another Batman, another Superman, Bruce Wayne, and Lex. WTF?

There is a post over on the Sideshow Freaks(?) forum that has a link to a TRU page with just a descripton,no pics which describes a Supes with 2 heads and a Batman, kinda confusing.

Ok, I'll wait for some pics to come out to confirm. But I thought that you only need 6 figures and not 8 to complete the C&C gun.

TRU has some listings. I think they are called Knightmare Batman and Post-Apocalypse Superman.
