i don't believe they were actually available at the stores.... i called a few gamestops hoping not to have to order one and i ended up talking to of course a bunch of young teenagers that know nothing. they thought i was some whack job asking about a figure. so i ended up ordering it online and it was sent to the store.

I actually pre-ordered a Red Hood at the Gamestop my brother worked at, and they shipped four to his store and immediately sold out (except the one set aside for me) and he said he'd been receiving calls all day from people looking for one

I can't stand some of the people I've seen working at Gamestop, they're just kids really some of which probably aren't even old enough to play all the games they're selling (well according to the rating label anyway but let's all be honest here we started playing M-rated games as teens or younger). Of course if they're not some high-school aged punk then they're pretty cool/helpful even when I'm not looking for anything gaming related. Either way staying on topic yes they were sold in stores, one of my close-ish stores I guess had a little set-up display with them because when I went in looking for whatever I was there for the guys working there just assumed I was looking for Red Hood and said how they had already sold out.

I actually saw one at my local flea market last I went from this pretty cool seller who usually has some nice stuff and I think he only wanted like $28 for it MIB, this seller typically sells exclusives with only minor mark ups but it always seems to be only a while after the initial release. I just don't feel it though with that Red Hood but the upcoming V1 boss battle non-dlc Red Hood does intrigue me greatly.

You're lucky, at the flea market I frequent there's: one booth that sells only Funko Pops for a ludicrous markup, another that specializes in overcharging for Star Wars Black Series and celebrity autographs (that I wouldn't buy without a COA) and one other guy who deals in a bit of everything and has all the Gamestop (and Walgreen's, Wal-Mart, etc...) exclusives marked up to an insane degree. Heh, no thanks guys...

I know some of you here are buying up all the Mattel Basic BvS figs (looking at you Raf),saw a two pack at Walmart today with armored Batman repainted in blue and what looked like regular Supes with a shield,didn't have any exclusive sticker or anything but I hadn't seen this before.

I still haven't gotten a new 52 design Superman; I'm looking at that upcoming designer series Capullo version, looks like it's got a good sculpt and solid articulation (Looks to be at least DCUC level, impressively).

Is there another version I should also consider? I only saw the DCUC once and I wasn't a big fan of the small boyish headsculpt, so I passed on it and never saw it again at retail.
