The First of 2 Dios I am having made. This is almost done. The wall needs some more airbrushing and adding some Foliage, Graffiti, Posters, and references to Gotham as this is for my Custom Zero Year Batman but can also be used for some of my Marvel Figs as well.

I think that the best powergirl is the infinite crisis one. The head sculpt is amazing as is the rest. Yeah its the older dc style artic but its easily one of, if not the, the best pg rep to date.

Not to quote Keanu Reeves but whoa...

Not lovin' the lack of bicep swivels, but that thing should make a base for some interesting customs.

Uh... when the hell was Man Bat in the movie? But then, it wouldn't be Mattel if they did something that actually made sense. You know, like Flash, since he actually had a speaking role unlike Aquaman.

Pretty sure that's the creature from the crypt nightmare Batman had, where there was blood dripping from the walls and that.. thing... popped out, in the lamest jumpscare attempt ever...

Was really wanting lex to come with alternate bald head or removable hair. And of all things THAT BAT Creature???? I kind of want a couple to be gargoyle statues for dioramas, but ...wow.
No Lois?? No Flash?? Bruce in a suit??? Clark Kent??? Diana Prince??? A Parademon??? Knightmare soldier???
They went with a hallucination.

Yeah it's the creature from his dream, which may or may not be man bat

I don't even remember there being a bat creature in his dream sequences, but this just goes to show how out of touch Mattel is. Nevermind Lois, a Parademon, Flash, or Doomsday when you can have a bat creature that was on screen for a 2 second dream sequence.

OF course you know... nobody says we're not getting a wave 2 of C&C figures... Have they? With NO doomsday.... I mean Come on... are they going to ignore the entire 3rd act of the movie?

I definitely see 6-8 more figures that could be squeezed out of this line... Isn't there a bald inmate Lex floating somehwere that we haven't seen represented? Hell with the Mulitverse they don't even technically have to be movie figures to participate in the C&C...

Just sayin...

Clark Kent(Reporter)
Bruce Wayne (Batcave not tux)
Bruce Wayne (... Ah... Ok Tux)
Bruce Wayne (Metropolis Slaughter)
Superman w/hole in chest
Diana Prince
Flashy Flash
The Russian
Superman Soldier
Paradaemon
Sure... Lois (SHE's THE KEY)
Alfred?
Perry White?

Several characters/variants to pick from

All to build a Doomsday figure?

Well that's... disapointing. While I think the Multiverse figures are great for what they are and cost... there's no defending the choice to make the bat demon statue thing into a figure. Thanks for making my choice to not bild the grapnel gun easier Mattel.

That said... I think it's actually a good looking figure. The wings could be better and the expression is boring, but the detailing on it is actually really good. If this was a seperate thing from the C&C stuff, like a store exclusive or something, I would seriously consider getting it. As-is, I'll wait till it's on a severe clearance before thinking about it.

Mattel's excuse for not making a movie Doomsday is that WB didn't get the design to them in-time for them to develop one. I honestly imagine that was part of it, but I imagine the fact that they would need to create a whole new sculpt for him was a bigger factor.

Honestly, I think our best bet for a film Doomsday is DCC's line of film figures. If it takes off, and stuff like their Icons Darkseid sell well, I could see them doing some of the larger film characters. Also, while not nearly as big, they're actually making the larger Kryptonian from Man of Steel, and he had a bit part, so who knows who all they'll consider doing in the future.

We have, he's in the next set of "Pop Culture" Multiverse figures. Oddly enough, he's one of the figures needed to complete the n52 comics Doomsday they're doing this year.

As for Mattel doing another BvS set of figures with a Doomsday C&C, I honestly doubt they will. Would be cool, but with two more C&C's already in the works for this year, I don't think we'll see another one till next year's line for the Wonder Woman movie. Especially with them putting prosoner Lex in with the comics and TV stuff.

2 seconds? Nah, the bat demon thingy was on screen for like half a second tops.

Like everyone else, I just don't get it. Why that when there's all sorts of options, Lois, Alfred, Parademons, Superman Soldiers, and so forth. They may not be all highly desired, but at least they'd make sense as opposed to something that had less then a second screentime in a 2 and a half hour movie as opposed to any character who actually had lines of dialogue. I was certain it wouldn't be Doomsday as it would have to be too large and require too much tooling and care to execute, but that is shocking.

On another topic, not that long ago, I picked up the SDCC Man of Steel set for under $35 shipped and I have to say, that's a pretty cool box set. As a kid of Super Powers, I like the cloth cape with the wires, allowing for all sorts of dynamic posing or even a good static one. The light up feature amuses me to no end, so it's a fun figure for me. Plus I get a Zod who looks right.
