Hello Everyone,

I have some Questions would love to hear some input.

First I would love to know if anyone keeps the Figures in the Original Packaging and if they think that these figures will Be worth a Pretty Penny In some time to come. (I am so tempted to open them!) I also would have a really hard time parting with them Down the Road if I fell on hard Times...

Second, Has anyone had a really Hard time Finding a certain figure?
Or What Figures would you classify as very hard to find...Besides Wave 5 of course.

Third is None of the Toys R Us on Long Island, Ny Seem to be stocking the Line. Was wondering if Other states were...

and Last Any good places online aside from Ebay where you can find Figures for a Fair Price?

Thanks

Keeping the figures in their pacakage is basically going to be your personal choice, you can do a search on Ebay and see what MIP figures are selling for and that will give you an idea of what you would want to keep and sell if you fall on hard times or free them and put them on display as the good lord intended. LOL.

For some reason Gentleman Ghost from Wave 8, the 2nd Wave of Public Enemies, the Wave 10 Walmart has become increasingly hard to find. Sadly the distribution of these figures suck across the US, personally I have two stores that have Red Supes and Black Mantas. A veritable sea of themAt the same time I walked in my Toys R Us and scored the entire Wave 9 Chemo set. While the pegs at the 5 Walmarts and 3 Targets I live near by are being kept warm by the Wave 6 and 7. If i had the time I think I could use the Black Manta body as a great base for Black Lantern customs but alas.

Depends what you define "pretty penny as. After beginning to collect DCUC recently I can say that all of these figures have eluded me due to high price points on Ebay. I'm of course equating higher average Ebay price with higher rarity.

Wave 2 Harley Quinn 30+ and Aquaman(Short or long) 40+
Wave 3 Sinestro(Yellow)50+, Robin 40+ and Nightwing 40+

Wave 5
Wave 8 Gentleman Ghost 50+

Two Packs
Green Lantern/Abin Sur 50+

Exclusives
Gleek 80+
Lobo 70+

Only counting carded figures of course. Some of these figures notably the majority of wave 3 are pretty pricey relative to MSRP odd to me considering Wave 1 and 2 seem plentiful.

I never had a problem with this line until wave 8, I took me a bit to get them but It initially was fun hunting down figures.

I open all Mine, they're just to cool to keep locked away and man they look good all lined up on a shelf.
As for re sale.
If your looking for an investment honestly, toys aren't it anymore.
Action figures value has become much like baseball cards were during the early nineties, zilch.
I have vintage stuff that's 30+ years old at this point and the value on them hasn't gone up in over 15 years.
Value these days is whimsey at best , its demand and what people want "this" second. Its nutty to see a new release figure of something be worth more than an original carded version, a good example of this is MOTU stuff currently, and to a great extent at times Star wars.

I say open them and enjoy them.
