Has anyone actually seen these guys in stores yet? If so, what stores?

I second that question, has anyone seen them in any store, they're suppose to start hitting store shelves this month but I haven't run into them yet. Comic books shops have them aplenty but at $25 a pop I think I'll wait.

I can't even remember who's in wave 11. The line has been so hit-or-miss at retail that all of the waves are blurring together for me now.

This is probably the best option for now. Hopefully, Mattel is able to better saturate the market this time around.

We'll obviously that'll depend on the cost, but where did you hear they'd have them on the 15th, doesn't give too much time to have them by the 25th though, hopefully their processing and shipping are decent/quick.

It has been delayed. Matty will sell them on the 23rd now.

It figures that Mattel somehow finds a way to yank the rug from underneath our feet.

This is one of my favorite sites, They finally have wave 11 in stock.

"DC Universe Classics Wave 11 Action Figures"

They don't rip you off on s/h and it doesn't take more than a week to get your items.

Not Bad price on the Set

I found Katma Tui and the Shark yesterday at Walmart in Martinez, CA.

I picked up Katma Tui but held off on the Shark.

Midway through January I found wave 11 freshly put out on shelves at a local Walmart bought all of them except Cyborg Superman who was unavailable I've seen remnants of wave 11 at another local Walmart who keeps DCUC stocked 11 as well. But it seems like wave 11 has stopped shipping maybe I only ever see pegwarmers or Wave 12 nowadays.

Its because of the Insane-o way that Mattel does case assortments now, you only get half a wave per case and "allstar" figures filling the rest, so a case assortment on wave 11 looks like this.
Case assortment#1
Katma Tui X2
Shark X2
Deadman X2 random version
Steppenwolf X2 random version
Batman X1
Superman X1

Assortment #2
GL John Stewart X2
Question X2
Sinestro Corp Cy Supes X2
Deadman x1 random
Steppenwolf X1 random
Batman X1
Superman X1

Its stuff like this that made wave 8 so difficult to find as the assortment with Gentleman Ghost and Hawk Girl was Mystically rare.
So what ends up happening as retailers don't differentiate between case assortments , they just see stock, and as a result some areas get one part of the wave others dont, its kind of a craps shoot.
Here in Ga I found the first assortment but not the second , and to avoid a Wave 8 Scenario I bought Gl, Cy Supes and Question online, which I dislike doing, as The hunt is part of the hobby for me.

I'm also seeing this trend with wave 12 as I have found all but Mary Batson, Copper Head, and Iron at retail.

The logic on this eludes me. I would guess Mattel is doing it to create a false sense of urgency that can easily backfire on us if were not really diligent. (see wave 8)

I just do not understand it at all. Why does Mattel repeatedly mess with the fans like that. I really like the way they make these figures and to me they blow Super Powers and DC Direct out of the water but their distribution is garbage.

I can only guess they just don't care Jimster.

They have a lot of really cruddy practices, like the flip flop of the "Adult Collector" nonsense.
They will in the same conversation tell us that retailers don't buy enough/ take the line seriously because of the "collector" aspect of the line, and then turn right around and say the reason for WGSH or Allstars is so that parents have "recognizable" characters to buy for the Kiddies.
Its really to the point where I wish they wouldn't even answer any Q&A stuff any more because of misinformation or just out and out lies.

The big concern I have now is the price increase, and the tons of older waves choking Targets right now, I see this killing Target for any future waves.
It from my perspective is like they want it to fail, so they can go totally online with sales.
