This thread is pretty self explanatory, simply state which figure you wanted as a kid but never got. I can't think of one for myself right now, but I can think of a few that I want now. Mainly Beast Wars figures (I'm a teenager, so I mainly grew up with Beast Wars and such).

ALSO, if there's a thread like this I apologize. I would just search it up but it seems like a very specific thing to search for that would most like generate zero results.

I can't think of anything. I was very fortunate. Actually I did want a 1977 star wars imperial shuttle from a collector shop. It was 700 dollars. A bit out of my price range as a child

Toy I never got... hmmm... you mean everything? Ha. Seriously, I only got 5 action figures in total as a child and I remember which ones they are. Two-Face and Riddler from the Batman Movie/DC Superheroes cross-over line, two Winston Zeddemore figures. One from Wave 3 and one from Wave 4 and the Krang figure that was just the brain and the AT-ST walker looking thing from the Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles line. So as for what toy I didn't get, suffice to say everything else... LOL.

Mainly it was video games stations because of the cost, but my parents went out of their way to get me the G1 Optimus, ghostbuster headquarters, tmnt sewer and techno drome etc.... I was spoiled, especially when it came to my aunt Edna, RIP. She would buy like double the amount of gifts my folks would buy us, she had a daycare but no children of her own so she spoiled me and my sister rotten.

I never realized how lucky some of us are. I mean when I think about it, I can't think of a single thing I didn't get as a kid. I'm sure there were plenty of times when I wanted a toy and my mom said no and I kicked and screamed about it, but I'm sure I ended up getting it for my birthday or Christmas anyways.

I remember as a child throwing a complete fit that I couldn't get the inspector gadjet figure. My mom told me I could get Dr Claw because he was a dollar or 2 cheaper. Sure enough I didn't get either.

G2 Transformer Ramjet. I cried like a baby and BEGGED my old man to buy him for me. But the tight ass usually only spent $10 a year on toys for me and my bro. It was mom who always bought us stuff. Eh...dont matter. Pops been gone for a decade and a half, and I own G2 Ramjet as an adult now Win-win situation there.

The first one that springs to mind is the original Power Rangers Megazord... I had all the 12 inch figures, and I had the Dragonzord, but I never got the Megazord... Which kinda made Dragonzord redundant, because without it, he was just a flashing plastic brick with lights! :P

But the one I feel really bad about is not owning the Technodrome playset from TMNT. I saw it a total of once int he stores, but my parents weren't in a buying mood sadly and I missed out. And I was a HUGE Turtles fan growing up, which made losing out on it even harder!

Makes it even harder now, as my friend in Canada just recently acquired the playset from another friend! >_<

G1 Megatron, and the GI Joe Skystriker. We bought them for my cousin, who was older and (in theory) would handle expensive toys better; but I never got them.

I had lots of toys, but usually missed the main characters. Had a decent Joe collection, but never had Duke, Scarlett, Cobra Commander, Baroness or Destro. TFs never had Prime, Megatron, or any of the seekers (did have Devastator though; had all the Aerialbots but the main one go figure). MOTU had all the figs but no Greyskull. MASK--no Thunderhawk, Rhino, or Switchblade (but I had Goliath).

Of course now I have them ALL!!!

I really gave this some thought, but i was kinda fortunate around christmas time. Even though my family was hard on cash early on in my life, they still managed somehow to put a boatload of crap under the xmas tree. I still appreciate that to this day. I wasnt a spoiled brat. I also saved my allowance for beast wars toys. Kay bee toys was so cheap back then. I was picking those guys up for 3-10 dollars. Now they're like 3 times the MOC value now. I never asked for the big playsets cause I knew there was no way if get it. ALSO LEGOS. I WANTED THAT GODDAMN PIRATE SHIP.

I always wanted a Terrordrome. I remember seeing it at Sears and knowing it was too much for my parents to get. One summer we saw one at a yard sale on the way to baseball practice but my parents still would not get it for me. Totally ruined baseball for me.

I remember those old JP figures... I did have the Rex, which you are correct was red, as well as the Raptor and Stegosaurus. The Dinosaurs were probably the best part of the line honestly, but they didn't do much other than have the battle damage.

Another thing just came to mind... As a Transformers collector, I never once completed a combiner set! I had a couple of the main body guys, and a few of the limbs, but I never had a whole team to build the combined form (Course, now I realize they were interchangeable, but I wanted a complete team!)

I don't think it was anyone's fault... My parents didn't know the teams, so they just brought me whatever was left on the shelf! But I really wanted that Bruticus...

I hear ya. I remember going into the Drug Store and seeing all of the TF gift sets. Funny thing is that the same constructacon was always missing from the sets. Hook I believe. His legs were always breaking and he was apparently easy to steal from the gift set.

Oh I would loved to have owned at least ONE of the Constructicons, but by the time I was properly collecting they were on the Scramble City guys... Though thinknig about it, I never saw any of the G2 guys.

Let's see, as a kid the only thing that I really wanted and didn't get was a G1 Fort Max.

In fact, I still want one, and it's still out of my current price range. But one day it will be mine...oh, yes. It will be mine.

Wanted a Skystriker. Had a Night Boomer that a neighbor broke. The Skystriker was in the show a lot, and my favorite plane is the F-14 Tomcat.

Didn't get one until this past summer, and I have asked for it for years. The feeling of walking out of Target with a case of what ve wanted for so long, it's indescribable. Such an awesome toy. Need to buy more for customs.

Wanted the Tiger Rat and Conquest X-30, didn't get the former until 2009, and the latter until 2008(had the TRU camo versions of the Rattler and Conquest but they don't count). Always loved the Tiger Rat deco.

Wanted 1/55 VF-1S Super Valkyrie from Macross, did NOT get it until 2003.

Wanted the Night Raven and Sky Raven. Yet to get them. Make it happen Hasbro.

This one took me a while to think about, I had generous parents as far as toys were concerned. G1 Soundwave, but I got him some 25 years later at SDCC!
