These look great. From Arkham Knight, I'll be getting Batman, Arkham Knight, and Scarecrow. From Arrow, I'm getting masked Oliver, Deathstroke, and Canary. Probably going to get the Flash too, especially if I like the show.
They also announced a Dark Archer from Arrow, so looking forward to seeing how it looks. I'll definitely be getting that one as well. |

I know exactly who it was. They wore identical costumes, as the show said so yes I pay attention, to confuse their enemies as to which one of them was really behind the mask. So it can be Slade or Wintergreen. The packaging doesn't even use either of their names opting for the more multi-purpose Deathstroke despite him not adopting that name until ARGUS began calling him that 5 years later.

My problem with the two-pack, is that we never saw Slade in that get-up. Pieces of it, but never in it's entirety. Which is why I'm really glad to see them doing a figure of his season 2 costume. I also prefer the new full suit Ollie that's on the way. That new bow he got in season 2 is beautiful.
A Dark Archer figure should be interesting. Not a figure that I see myself rushing to get, but definitely one I'll consider.

All of these figs will be tough to resist. Honestly, the one that jumped out at me is The Flash. Maybe it's because I'm a big Barry Allen fan or maybe it was because the pilot has so much promise for the series, but I need that fig.

Long time lurker here. I had to register in order to post a comment on Deathstroke from Arrow: Wow. What a nice surprise. They finally nailed the helmet design, IMO. This is the one for me. Hooray!
Wonder Woman statues: Gorgeous. Iconic. Not sure how she fights in heels, but hey -- she's Wonder Woman. Can't wait to see both WW sculptures up close. Batman AK: I was really looking forward to this one, but the marshmallow-roast ears are back, and the good proportions, sensible cape and other improvements in Arkham Origins Batman are undone. Too bad. Ever since the Nolan movies, the costume has morphed into a bulkier, busier, oversized suit of armor, like a noir Iron Man. I'm with Dr. Kain: It would be nice to see classic (pre-New 52) designs with the benefit of modern articulation and attention to detail. Arkham Knight AK: Not sure what the hype was about. Might mean more after I play the game. Capullo Year Zero Batman: What's wrong with the face? Reminds me of CD Cenobite from Hellraiser 3. Superman Man of Steel Statue: Unnerving facial expression. I wouldn't want that in my office. Flash: Very retro. I prefer a futuristic design. I am VERY happy with Deathstroke!!! Regards Last edited by Skoob; 07-15-2014 at 01:22 AM.. |

Ooh, I missed that announcement. That's great. Dark Archer, and the League of Assassins ninjas in general, have a great design on the show.

I might have to get a Merlyn just so I can have something to go with my DCU Green Arrow.

I'm begining to wonder if it would be worth getting an Arkham City Harley figure (like a broken one or something) to swap heads with this one. I prefer the Arkham Knight Harley's costume, but since it's been pointed out to me, I can't unsee the Frank-N-Furter face this Harley has.
Having a Tim Curry figure in my collection would be cool, but not like this...

1 Google search later... Oh... my... God... Yeah, I see what you mean. I would actually consider that more horrifying... haunting even... At least I can get a bit of a laugh out of the Frank-N-Furter comparison.

Anyway, BBTS now has Canary and shirtless Oliver up for pre-order. Not sure why the others aren't there... but I ordered Canary nonetheless. Zero Year Batman, too. |

Zero Year Batman looks pretty cool. Though I'm not sure I'll get him. I love the character, but don't want half my DCD/DCC collection to be different versions of Batman. That said, out of the three designer series Batman figures revealed so far, this is the most tempting for me. Though I'm kinda curious to see what a theoretical fourth wave Batman could be.

I can't imagine that they will. So far it looks like only two of them have a set release date. Black Canary and island Ollie in February. DCC isn't the best at pacing releases, but they usually do a decent job of it. At most we'll see four at a time.
I'm really hoping Nightwing is in Arkham Origins, as I'd love to see a new figure of him with a new 52 inspired red logo costume.
