Well frankly it really doesn't. The majority of it still looks like the same matte black and while the show didn't really make the silver parts shiny (from what I remember) it's not a huge leap to make them look more metallic on the toy.

Neither does the new one. They're metallic not chrome, if they were actually chrome they'd look closer to white in the picture. You're not wrong to say the original is more accurate to the cartoon but it's not like this one is atrociously inaccurate either, it's literally just making parts that were gray metallic.

Speaking of gray, I really want them to do a Gray Ghost. They've already done Phantasm who was at the top of my dream list but the Gray Ghost was right there at number 2.

Same here. I am just afraid that if they did not do Phantasm as a single figure they will make Grey Ghost a 2 pack as well. I really wish they would have went with my "Specters of the Past" (what I would have called the 2 pack) idea and made Grey Ghost and Phantasm in a 2 pack together.

Even if I had already picked up the individual Batman I imagine I'd have had no problems still getting the Phantasm pack because I wanted Phantasm so badly I'd have settled for having two of the mostly same Batman. Now if they did make Gray Ghost another two pack with another Batman then I'd have a harder time justifying it even though I'd still probably be all in. I think your "specters of the past" title is right on.

Knight Time was an episode from Superman not Batman, but I completely agree we need an animated Superman! They should just expand and create a line for the Justice League cartoons.
