Can't wait to make a Mr Freeze display.

Heart Of Ice is one of the best cartoon episodes ever put together.

So why is Catwoman the only one from BTAS while Batman, Two-Face, and Freeze are from the Batman/Superman season?

I might be interested if they were all the BTAS series.

They've already said that they'll be doing both versions of each character eventually, as long as the line is a success.

The first series has one BTAS design and three are from the "New adventures of Batman and Robin" season. The second series is reversed, with three BTAS characters and one of the New Adventures redesigns.

I somewhat agree. I think what they've done for each of the 4 figures is perfect, for what it is, I just don't want a shelf full of these things. One or two pieces to represent a pretty good era of Bats, and I'm satisfied. I know it's cliche and long game collectors will cringe, but I'd be happy with TAS Batman and Joker, done.

Well that is dumb. I'm not going to buy designs I find inferior just in case it gets them to make the designs I want.

I will buy them all. With the exception of Joker and Catwoman, all the NS/BA designs were solid. I have no beef displaying them alongside their TAS counterparts.

If they DO make a restyled Joker, I hope they base it off his Return of the Joker re-redesign.

Other than Catwoman and Joker, I don't see myself buying any of the BTAS designs. I prefer a lot of the redesigns.

There is a lot of potential for this line, though. Best case scenario, it gets expanded into Justice League (and Unlimited) - but my absolute most wanted figure is definitely Batman Beyond, preferably with an equally awesome Blight to display him with.

Future Static would be great too.

Not bad. I would have preferred their original designs, but these aren't bad. I might get Mr. Freeze. Is it just me, or is it odd to see Two-Face with so many accesories? Is this why Batman and Catwoman don't have any?

So people who prefer the TAS design of some of these characters have to buy the redesign to potentially one day have the chance to buy a figure of their preferred design? Well that sucks...

Any clues/hints/rumors as to who they might do in the next series? I'm trying to think of characters I would definitely want TAS designs over TNA designs, and the only ones that come to mind are Joker, Bane, and Killer Croc.

The only redesigns I prefer are Penguin's and Scarecrow's. Some of them are not bad, but then you have horrid ones like Joker, Riddler, Mad Hatter, and Bane.

People love both the original and newer designs enough that this line will do fine. This is a testament to how great that show looked. I myself prefer the original Freeze, Two-Face, and Croc, while the redesigned Bane, Penguin, and Scarecrow were improvements. In any case, I'll be buying them all, regardless.

If they gave hints, I don't remember them. All my info comes from an interview with DCC that was posted on the DC comics site around the time the first series was shown in DC All-Access.

Yeesh, I forgot about the redesigned Bane. Riddler too. The Scarecrow designs are about even to me - although there were actually three, if I remember right, and the first was my least favorite. I don't mind either Mad Hatter.

If they in fact offer both Robins, I'll go with the Tim Drake version and hopefully they'll release Nightwing as well. I'd definitely be getting the redesigned Batgirl.

They should include Baby Doll with Killer Croc if they ever get around to making him. Man, that was such a weird and creepy episode. It'd be nice to finally get a Wesker and Scarface set too.

I really do hope this line is a major success for them, 'cause there are just so many characters they can do.

There already is one. It came out relatively recently. I'd say some time in the last 10 years.

EDIT:
2007 apparently.

that was one of my favourite figures when i was a kid, andrea beaumont with removable mask and ax(?). that would make me so happy-.

save for grundy, robin and series 2 of arkham origins i have
all the arkham series figures, have the secret files and hush villians, and with the mattel batman 66 figures i plan to get and this animated collection, i would make my 6 year old self cry of envy.

is this a repack of that figure?:

because the one that comes alone is pretty steep in price compared to this two pack, im wondering if he is the same.

Yeah, I'm sure that's the same mold.

Me neither, but BTAS is my absolute favorite version of Batman of all time, and I've always wanted one really good BTAS Batman figure ever since I was a kid. That's why I'm going to get him and nothing else from the line.
