Well, this is kind of tricky. When DCC started doing New 52 action figures, they were still going along with what they were good with: detailed, lightly articulated action figures.
They only recently began to change by adding a whole lot more articulation to their stuff, but now they're in a tough spot. It seems like they're trying to cater to their longstanding customers and release action figures in the old style to have matching collections, while also providing more articulated stuff here and there for people who want that, because there's definitely a market for it after the demise of Mattel's DC Universe Classics line. They recently did a poll asking their customers which style they should stick to moving forward, and I believe "as much articulation as possible" won it. So it's pretty safe to say that the more statue-like figures will be released less and less as time goes on. Personally I would hold off until maybe SDCC before committing to a particular DC line. I fully expect them to release more articulated versions of Superman and Wonder Woman (perhaps part of their new Designer Series, which offers lots of articulation while being based on a specific artist's work) at some point. I personally have the "we can be heroes" box set of their first New 52 Justice League figures, but I'm holding out until SDCC before opening it up just in case they reveal a better Superman, Wonder Woman and Flash. |

thanks so much! With that in mind I think I will get the Titans and Outlaws since I've been wanting figs of those anyway and they are decently articulated, and just hold off on anything else.
