DC Collectibles Solicitations - Batman Animated Figures and New DC Statues

Praise the toy gods! Dc collectibles have heard us. The gcpd set was getting ridiculous in price on the after market. Now we finally get our single packed rogues!

Now if dc collectibles would answer my emails I have been sending for 3 months about my replacement batcave stickers. They will be golden.


Any sites taking pre-orders yet? I just checked bbts and EE,but saw nothing on those yet.

I suspect we'll see pre-orders starting this week. A lot of the sites will wait for Diamond Previews to send out their solicitations on these.

yeah i was going to say those who had to fork out on that set , just got a kick in the teeth, though Montoya will get pricey unless they release her on single card

Yeah, I'm a little pissed about buying that GCPD box set now. Oh well. Glad people are getting a shot at grabbing these if they missed it the first time.

If you had bought it when it was first up for preorder you wouldn't have had to worry about the "aftermarket." BBTS even threw in a free Commissioner Gordon. Speaking of which BBTS does have them up for preorder now.

Anyone who has been collecting action figures for more than six months should either get over it or find a new hobby. Repaints, repacks and better versions come out, that's the way it is.

The price really isn't that different, and you're getting one less figure (not the most essential character but worthy of inclusion in the line) and a semi-decent display box. You'll also note that the solicitations don't say anything about figure stands, so I'm sure everyone who said the GCPD Set was too expensive (newsflash: it wasn't) should love that.

I was trying to explain to my 5 year old what a jerk was,I have only read him your posts. Looks like you maybe butt-hurt about something. Not that I owe you an explanation,but I have bought every animated dcc release at full price only to have them go on sale later. I assumed this would also be the case. As it went over $200,I could not justify it. I also already owned Gordon.

I assume you must be sitting on one or more of these and now feel slighted. You sir,are the answer to a question,no one asked.

As someone who already has the GCPD box-set, I'm really glad they finally are releasing singles of the bad guys. Those are very prominent rogues and for anyone trying to get in late on a BTAS collection it was ridiculous to have them in such a limited set.

Jokermobile got cancelled over a year ago. I do hope we can eventually get a BTAS Batboat and Beyond Batmobile, though.

I'm Trying to think who has not gotten a Animated figure made to complete the set?? With Grey Ghost, Scarecrow, Two-Face, and Hardac coming, who is still missing , Gotham Knights Penguin??? Hugo Strange, Red Claw, and I for one would like a Rupert Thorne. Oh god!! how could I forget A Clock King is a must. Maybe even Vertigo or Lock-Up,

I was very disappointed when the Phantasm didn't include an Andrea Beaumont headsculpt under the mask the way the original figure did.

I feel like this discussion's been had before on the Ark but originally they were going to include an Andrea head but it looked goofy on the Phantasm's masculine frame that the toy sticks with. When her identity is revealed and the mask comes off the Phantasm's body literally changes to match so an accurate unmasked Phantasm would require being a separate toy. Just doing one toy like Kenner did back in the day that covers both looks doesn't do both sides justice since you'll either wind up with an obviously feminine body like the Kenner toy or an obviously masculine body with a woman's head like what DCC scrapped.
