I'm surprised, I thought the new line was going to place a bigger emphasis on the A-list characters like those in the new 52 Justice League. I'm still waiting for an announcement for these new designs to make it into articulated figure form, because I can't stand DC Direct statues.

Anyhow, I'm still pretty glad I get a chance at getting Batman Beyond Bats. The more I think about it, I'm fine with the buff look since Terry eventually becomes that built.

What would be really nice, and I seriously doubt would ever happen thanks to this release, would be a five pack with a skinnier, double jointed Terry, and including Aquagirl, Warhawk, Barda, and either Static, or Green Lantern.

I personally feel both could coexist (You're right, terry's been shown buff and built, when he's older). But I don't think Mattel would release a third of him.

I think I now know why the Plastic Man figure interests me....he sorta looks like Elvis, lol. Anyways, was thinking about the re-release of the Batman Beyond figure, and decided to watch a review of the original release of it. If they cut the shiny coating for this release, or do it better this time (aka tougher coating, but not clogging the joints), I'll probably get him.

Also, while a good number of people who have been into these figures since the beginning wouldn't enjoy this, I'm looking forward to any and all of the "new 52" designs they'll hopefully be releasing.

Probably late spring? DCUC Wave twenty hits mid to late winter. So Late Spring sounds about when they should pop up.
