I don't know how this equates to rubber or inappropriate articulation, because it gives them almost a full range of human motion, where as the standard knee and elbow joints seen on Hal Jordan, Superman, or Batman only really allow for ninty degree movement before the sculpt stops them.
yeah so true that is what I'm talking about . don't get me wrong I like to poss my figures but you can only do so much on them but with the extra joints hings and may be some lower swivel legs would help the figures articulation so much . I know i'm not the only one who thinks this or may be some ankle pivot . to have more stable set up .

see the back foot don't fit flush on the ground !!

I never read Brightest Day but it would make sence since one charater is resposible for stopping the events of Kingdome Come. Kingdome Come's Major event is the death of 1,000's when Magog ruptures Captain Atom's Shell and it causes a Nuclear Release that destroys Kansas.

they'll still make 6 inch figures, only not the BAF/ C&C waves of old (the bulk of the most wanted characters going to the subscription line, while retail will probably evolve into Flashpoint and beyond)

I think eventually the retail line will get the reboot designs, while the Pre Reboot characters are released on Mattycollector.

Aren't all the DCU Classic Supes the same other than slight paint differences? I've got the one with red eyes from the 2pk with Brainiac. But overall, love the fig!

From the DC Superheroes line, there are at least four Superman figures: classic Supes, Black Suit Supes, Kal-El Supes (wearing metallic blue headgear), & Kingdom Come / OWOW Supes (same as classics but w/ a black background chest emblem). There is also a suited/bespectacled Clark Kent figure.

From DCUC, there's Superman Red, Superman Blue, Mullet Supes, Black Suit Mullet Supes, Public Enemies Supes, Heat Vision Supes from the Clash in the Cosmos Brainiac 2-pack, Gotham City 5-pack Supes, Power Struggle Parasite 2-Pack Supes, & All-Stars Supes.

Only the last three listed are the same figure.

Of course, this excludes Superboy, Eradicator, & Cyborg Superman figures.

Also back in DCSH there was a Superman that used the same body as the very first one, but had a different "more handsome" headsculpt. So two versions of classic Supes in DCUC.

Also you could throw Ultraman from the Crime Syndicate 5pack into the discussion.

You missed the point of this thread entirely. I know there are DCUC-like figures slated for the future.
The point of the thread is to discuss DC Universe Classics waves 1-20. What you liked, what you didn't, and all that jazz.

Man, that Supes on the far left is awesome! Which version is this one?....love the head sculpt and the giant S. Although the shade of red is a little muted, prefer the brighter red on the middle Supes (this one I have).

That one is the standard DC Superheroes 'classic' Superman. He is my favorite version, too.

I like the sculpt but I hate the small S-Shield. I just won a DC Superheroes Superman and he has a Larger S-Shield that looks alot better IMO.
