But why say "larger scale" figures?

I don't think this is the 'replacement' for the MU line. I think we're already seeing that with things like the Assemble line.

Hasbro is going to continue producing 3.15" figures, but without the MU banner. It will be themed lines, like Assemble and movie lines. There just won't be the MU line itself.

This is something else.

I think the description is wrong or they used the 6 inch description. The line-up however has Grim Reaper & Hyperion that we saw at SDCC.

Avengers Assemble is not the new MU line. That is for the cartoon.

I wrote MIDTOWN COMICS an email and they said, it was NOT a typo and the info is correct to the info they received.

It does say feet ' though and they did show us those HYP and G.R. figs at SDCC in MU scale....i think they are 6" as well

Good digging!

Grim Reaper and a black Hyperion would be excellent gets!

The pricing matches their price for a case of MU.
Definitely something wrong going on there, just not sure what.

It's because the price they have listed is a sales price, if you look at the original it's the same cost as an ML case.

They list the same regular and sales price for an MU case releasing in 3/2014.
I don't know what is wrong there, but it is definitely something.

Just like Hasbro solicited Cloak and Dagger as being a two pack. Internet retailers with preordered confirmed that Hasbro said 2-pack so it was their error. Even major retailers months later put them up on the web as getting two figures. Six inch, four inch, six feet, whatever. It's all the same until I actually see a picture of something. All we ever saw of Grim Reaper and Hyperion in 3.75" were unfinished digital models that could have easily been made into 6" figures.

Yeah, it probably is 6'' because of the price. The only ones I could see getting is Grim Reaper, and Wasp. Maybe Hyperion if he's different from the Hit Monkey wave. Also, isn't Heroic Age Iron man the Bleeding Edge Iron Man?

The NY Toy Fair will either answer this or provide us with more questions. They don't seem to be to bothered about 3.75" anymore. (Or even the rare 3.75' collector at MidTownComics )

Why all the secrets and hush hush Hasbro? The main reason I feel it isn't in the MU scale is because why on Earth would they give us a Wasp? She is is one of the big name characters in the Marvel line, and20% of the founding members of Avengers.... why would they give us her? Seems too logical. Besides, if it is the MU scale replacement.... where are the Wolverine, Spiderman, And 6 different Hulks that will roll out n the first case????

Does anyone have a pic of the Wasp that was possibly floating around with the Grim Reaper and Hyperion? Or for that matter any of the the other figures mentioned in the Midtown Comics ad? Even though they were introduced as 3.75", I'm curious to see what they look like (in secret hope that they blew up the molds in order to make them 6").

I think I'd add either size Wasp to my ML collection, so if pics are found thanks in advance

There IS the possible they are releasing the 6 inch and the 4 inch with the same line-ups.

Or you know, the 4 inch is dead. But I think it's a better chance of the 4 and 6 will be the same figures. Now WHY they would do that, I am not entirely sure.

I'm leaning more towards this is the six inch because these have the same name as the Black Widow and all the 6 inch Captain America figures. Infinite I am pretty sure is the new name for the Legends line.

Well Hyperion and Grim Reaper were both announced to be figures in the new 3.75" line. Platinum Wasp, Platinum Grim Reaper, Platinum Hulk, and Platinum Hyperion were all labeled as 3.75" figures in that leaked list. Seems a little too uncanny to be a coincidence or that they would switch scales for no reason.
Also, wasn't it stated that moving forward in 2014 that the 6" figures would be released in waves that parallel to the movies released? Pretty sure there's not a movie coming out this year with any of these characters.

there probably just puting the leftovers from MU in the initial offering to use up the molds and give the line a more fluid transition to collectors, my question is once they have a mold for one scale why don't they either scale it up or down there by produceing the same fogure with the same look and the same level of articulation in multiple sizes? everybodys happy, no more of this two scales with completly different offerings.

I don't think there are any pics of Wasp.
These were shown at SDCC...

never mind, just read the rest of the thread. I'm still kind of hoping this is a new Legends wave, I'd like to see an updated ML Captain America with the Bucky/US Agent body.

Marvelousnews.com has the same picture in an article on there site, along with a comment that the 6" scale is a misprint on Hasbro's fault and that these are the new 3 3/4" MU figures. Which makes a lot of sense seeing that the Cap and Ironman match MU figures we have seen and Hyperion and Grim Reaper match what Hasbro showed us at SDCC for their new 3 3/4" line. Idk where Marvelous News got their info, but I also thought I remembered reading some where Avengers Infinite was going to be the new lines new name anyways so Im not sure why other than the typo people are assuming this isn't the new 3 3/4" series.
