Looks good, I'll pick this up over the HT version. I wonder if it'll get a US release or not since Bluefin/Bandai seems to have stopped releasing figures here that aren't already over $80 without accessories.

Had a really weird dream about this costume... some reason, turns out the costume was a symbiote, and the post credit scene was Flash finding it in Peter’s locker, and becoming Agent Venom.

Again, just a weird dream.

Officially... probably, since symbiotes are “owned” by Sony. However, Sony has been vague and very “F you” to Marvel about the denial that the Venom movie exists in the mcu universe. Kevin Feige says no, definitely not... but that was before the pg13 rating and it’s box office record setting performance...

We’ll find out for certain in the next Venom movie. Hopefully it’ll mention events in the mcu either directly or indirectly, just to “twist the knife” into the mcu, since IIRC Far From Home completes the original agreement between Sony and Marvel for the Civil War inclusion.

That being said... I don’t mind venom not being in the mcu. He doesn’t fit it anyway. He’s best as a loner, best as hyperviolent, and I don’t need 40yr old Tom Hardy punching a kid 1/2 his age.

The symbiote/black-in-black is my favourite Spidey suit, but I COMPLETELY dislike Venom as character in any form. I'm find with the symbiote, just not Venom. It's complicated...

Completely understandable. Venom is an odd character. I’ve been a HUGE fan of Venom as a concept, but HATE the execution. Venom looks awesome. Scary and fearsome. Eddie brock’s Original motivations in the comics are horrible. The retconns over the years haven’t been much better. Honestly, the Venom movie is the most “real” I’ve seen Eddie. He’s completely at fault for being an idiot, but blames Drake, and he’s a neurotic. Tom Hardy based his Eddie performance on Woody Allen. The Venom parasite has some “rules” at least in the movies. In the comics it’s abilities depend on the artist.
