To be fair,i build all my dioramas from scratch,i like industrial apocalyptic, dystopian dark future type stuff, and its tough to find that sort of thing pre-made,the only trouble is stuff never gets properly finished because i keep tweeking it when i have a new idea!!

In terms of what i use, anything goes!! You need to train your mind to a scavenger/packrat mentality,if it looks useful stash it somewhere for future projects!!

Cardboard (boxes+tubing) is great for your start up walls/floor,or swap card for polystyrene sheet to make great walls(you can easily cut it to add battle damage/weathering) car body repair mesh is perfect for fences/grilles,walkways ANY kind of plastic pipe in as many diameters as you can find(though the ribbed stuff for electrical conduit is particularly awesome) cans/food tins can make perfect fuel/water tanks with a bit of work, bits of computers especially USB ports, headphone sockets, printer ribbons, and electrical cabling, toy parts, bits of cars, old stereos, broken clockworks/old watches are always things im looking out for.Ya just gotta use your imagination, and in terms of images i just google exactly what i want ie,water damaged walls, rusty metal, industrial piping, etc, and iv found modelling magazines are great for tips on painting walls, buildings etc, especially damaged ones.

Necro-bump!

Tech Deck is becoming scarce and pricey nowadays so I wanted to ask my fellow Arkers wich "park" is the best?
I hesitate between Pulaski Park and Rincon (the stairs)

I found this one at Ross, and I use it with my Playmates TMNT figures:

(repost from Marvel topic)

Just received my Prince Of Persia Playset!
For the price, it's a very nice addition to one's 3.75" scale diorama! Here is a quick pic I did after receiving it.

Amazon US and UK still have those at incredibly low price, if you're interested in them you shouldn't hesitate, good quality item!

Big update for my as I finally found time to unpack a lot of the stuff I bought in Japan.

Of course I bought some of the 1/12 furniture model kits (toilets, desks, etc) and took pics to help you grasp the scale; as you can see, these are a little small for Marvel and DC 6" figures, but perfect for Figuarts or TNMT

But the big highlight, my big discovery thanks to a sollicitation from Amazon.jp, I found the Custom Effects for LBX. Since these are very cheap and also available from HLJ, here are some pics to help you understand how they work, and if they're worth your money.

First, they come as a kit, so you'll have to snap them together; but since they're intended for kids, you won't need paint or glue.

And now, the pics!

The light on this pic is very bad and does not justice to the greatness of this big black energy ball.

If you want to order some, search for "CUSTOM EFFECT" on HLJ search engine.
LBX Custom Effect #006 by Bandai | HobbyLink Japan

Bonus track: my lucky find, the "Kôrin Effect" an exclusive effect part from an Ultra-Act figure that I've been able to buy alone for 10$. The quality is outstanding, and I'll by as many as I can if I find some other.
