I picked the first wave up over at bbts. The first wave of the 3.75 has 11 figures in it. They are numbered 1-5 and 41-46. That gives us 36 more figures. So who will we get and who would you like to see, and when will we see them?

It may just stop at 5. That's my guess. I dont think theyre going to pump out a second set of 40-45. They've overexhausted the line. I have them as well. All ridiculously vibrant re-paints. Are there tons of more characters they COULD make? Sure. Will it happen? Prob not.

Wait when did series 5 drop?
Stark racing armor? Is this like the mandarin wave that never came out?

It's weird how these haven't hit a single brick and mortar eeenywhere. Of course I'd only be interested in the Hammeroid.

I don't know if this applies to this thread, but TJMaxx has the IM2 Rolling HQ thing for $17. Seems like it should be worth it, and a nice link between my GIJoe and Marvel figs. It's like Tony Stark designed the ROCC.

That final Hammerdrone is readily available on Amazon and is AWESOME.
Cant reccomend that enough.

The others though...meh. that Dep Sea repaint is kinda nice- I have an extra that I was going to repaint all gold anyway to better match the actual Deep Sea Armor (which looks nothing like that but still).

Yeah, this whole "Armored Avenger" thing is really weird. I guess it was produced too far in advance to cancel, because the slow sales of IM2 leftovers have definitely kept it off of shelves. I'd be REALLY surprised if there are any more assortments in that series, especially given Hasbro's answer in a recent Q&A that we won't be seeing the "unmasked" Tony and Rhodey or Black Widow in the Armored Avenger series.

I just dont get why they think they can repaint a figure 20 times and expect people to want to collect them all. especially at the price they are charging. i understand if its a different sculpt. thats fine. but countless repaints of the same iron man armor just seems to make them lose their meaning.

I have to admit; that storm surge armor from the armored avenger concept series is pretty cool!

But...why release all these crappy repaint when they had Unmasked Tony, Rhodey and Natasha already sculpted and ready to go?
Hell, if they want to do a repaint, there's always the Mandarin and the hammer drones- I'd buy those in a second!

How about a nice repainted armored Whiplash? repainted comic series Iron Monger?

How about an ACCURATE Stealth armor instead of a black repaint?

Sorry. I guess that ship has sailed.
I'll keep an eye out for you though.

Did anyone get this 3" Hammer drone?
Amazon.com: Iron Man 2 Movie 3 Inch Action Figure Tactical Assault Drone: Toys & Games

looks like it's got limited articulation but might repaint/customize into something nice.

i hope if they want continue these series, they have more to be creative, not just always repaint and reissue figure, or just add more accesorries and release deluxe figure with more expensive price. i hope they just release the comics pack more and more, since iron man has still more armor that we dont see in figures and also his villain. i already sell all my concept series and just thinking from the beginiing why i interest with this series (concept) ?? brrrrrrrrr

Yeah, but what do they want for shipping? There's a lot of guys gettinng sround ebay's fees by selling for nothing and charging a TON on shipping (which ebay gets no part of and is completely the seller's discresion).
Saw a Galactus go for like $10 "buy it now" with $50 in shipping.

I'd actually buy a bunch of these little Hammeroids- if they are any good.

What about that BK drone toy? anyone here got one of those?

Ebay is changing, or has changed that. They now take cuts from both shipping and item cost.

That photo isn't of a 3.75 figure. Thats a 6"fig. Look at the card, not a single IM@ card looked like that, that i've seen. Has anyone seen a carded IM2 fig that looked like that?

No, its not a 6 inch figure, its is indeed a 3 inch, or shorter. It is like the size of a large key chain ornament. We have millions of those around town and came out of the blue. Silly if you ask me.

Yeah, but is there any articulation or is it just a static pose thing?

I looove me some Hammerdrones! If these smaller drones can move their arms and lrgs, I'll buy a few to cstomize into additional HYDRA-drones! Like these guys:

I'm pretty sure the small 3" ones have no movement or articulation at all. I think they are just static. I saw a lot of them at Big Lots a long time ago.

I think your right neatogecko, I believe they're static plastic lifeless form, but I have seen Jin's custom version which envolved 1 of these and a BK IM2 movie toy, and some ball jointed parted which looked amazing.. if they're cheap enough you could buy a ton for a display purpose and light some on fire, melt holes, dremel the fuck out of them for a battle scene effect.
