Hi guys.

I’m new here so go easy. My father is Paul Gillingham. Some of you die hards will know it was his company that done all the original sculpts for most of the premium brand toys/figures from the 80’s until the mid 00’s. These include all Action Man, Polly Pocket/Mighty Max, MLP, Barbie, Sindy, all official Disney figures plus many more.

Since he retired all the original moulds have just been stacked and left, but I’m starting to go through them all now.

How much interest is there in this community to see these moulds/casts and if there is, are you interested in the creation process, deletions, or final machine ready casts?

I’m writing this from my phone so can’t attach any images but if there’s interest, I’ll find a way to post some.

Thanks guys

If I'm being honest this might be too much for this forum. As in, this is too interesting to be contained here.

Sadly I don’t know who to contact or how to make this happen, but I would maybe ask a few people on social media who do toy history content if they can point you into the right direction or are interested to document this stuff for an audience.

Thank you so much for the info. I’ll have a look around the internet and see what comes up. I’ll leave the post active to see if anything comes of it but I’ll absolutely take your advice. Thanks again
